US Weekly: Jennifer Aniston – stuck in a time warp

Jennifer Aniston Looks Great On Set Of Just Go With It

The latest US Weekly has a whole photo spread that shows that Jennifer Aniston is still rocking the same hair, makeup, accessories and fashion choices after over a decade. They include side by side photos from 1997-99 and 2009-10 that show that Aniston hasn’t changed her look much. I don’t know, I just think she has a classic look that doesn’t go out of style and that she favors solid colors and simple styling. She has mixed it up a little with her fashion choices lately, but it wouldn’t kill her to do something different with her hair. I was thinking – “well Aniston did have that messy tousled hair on The Late Show,” but then I found a premiere photo that showed her with similar hair in the late 90s. There’s only so much you can do with long hair parted in the middle. If anything the photo comparisons show that Aniston hasn’t aged much and that she’s still as gorgeous if not better looking now as she was 10 years ago. We should all be as lucky. Here are some photos I found that illustrate US’ point. They’re not the same pictures used in the magazine.

In the article, US points out that Aniston loves little black dresses, her scarf (here’s a picture of her with one in 2001), her toe ring, which she’s been seen wearing in 1999 and 2009, and of course her hair. They also point out that she has similar body language with Gerard Butler as she had with her ex Brad Pitt on the red carpet. And Aniston is known as a creature of habit. She vacations to the same place in Mexico practically every year and eats the same thing for lunch every day. Here’s their explanation of that:

So set in her ways
Sunday dinners with Courteney Cox, annual trips to Cabo: Aniston’s behavior is pretty predictable.

Her diet: “I ate the same [Cobb] salad every day for 10 years,” she confessed of her Friends days. Since then, little has changed. She always orders the McCarthy salad at the Beverly Hills Hotel and the butter-lettucce salad with chicken at L.A.’s Sunset Tower.

Romantic Getaways: She cruised the River Seine in Paris with Pitt in 2004 and again with former boyfriend Vince Vaughn in 2006. On March 27, she made it a hat trick on a Seine sail with Butler.

Hatred of technology: “I’m computer-illiterate,” the Blackberry phobe has said. Noted ex John Mayer in a recent interview: “Her success came before TMZ and Twitter… She’s still hoping it goes back to 1998.”

[From US Weekly, print edition, April 19, 2010]

I’m one of those people who tries to mix it up and doesn’t like to go to the same places and do the same things. I don’t like getting in a rut and I get bored with the same things. My hair is different than it was 10 years ago, but I probably dress in the same kind of comfortable preppy style. There are plenty of people like Aniston who find what works for them and stick with it and there’s nothing wrong with that. She looks incredible and she doesn’t look dated at all. It’s not like she’s still rocking 90s mall hair with poofy bangs.

Long hair is probably just easier for her to manage. I know it is for me. What surprised me is how much healthier she looks now than 10 years ago,

  2. bite me says:

i think she looks better now, probably beacuse she doesn’t have to deal with Pitt

  3. Dorothy says:

Except for a few pounds I think I look the same as I did 10 years ago. Same hair, same style…

That picture of her and Brad reminds me of how hot I used to think he was. Not so much anymore.

  4. Lee says:

No disputing that she looks just as good, if not better, as years ago. Can’t say the same about Brad, though. I had actually forgotten how sexy-hot he was. Look at the picture of him walking behind her – he just oozes a kind of mischevious, irreverent, youthful sexiness. Those days are gone… sigh.

  5. meme says:

jen had brad back in the day when he was SUPER HOT. she looks great same hair or not.

  6. Marjalane says:

I think she’s really pretty, but would like to see her do something different with her hair. The whole California-tan, parted in the middle hair starts to look aging if you don’t change it up. Even a side part with the longer bob like Michelle Pfieffer had in that singing movie with the Bridges brothers- (deadbrain- can’t think of the title) would look good on her.

  7. lem says:

jesus christ, the woman is being criticized for having the same hairstyle (tousled) or wearing the same outfit twice in ten years? these rag mags are the pathetic desperate ones.

i agree that she just has a classic look and doesn’t look dated.

  8. kelbear says:

I think she looks great, and obviously always has. It’s not like she is trying to reclaim her youthfulness by having the same hair, makeup and wardrobe because she is still hot!

And love that pic of her and Brad. He was so much better looking back then.

  9. ligeia says:

she has a classic hairstyle that looks timeless, why change something that works so well with her face.
she is also going to look “aging” no matter what, because like the rest of us puny mortals she ain’t getting any younger and nothing is going to change that.

  10. bite me says:

brad might have been better looking back then, but now i think he is a MEN

  11. N.D. says:

    wow! the last 2 pics
she’s really put on quite a few pounds since 2009 (and 1999 for that matter) and looks so much better now!

  12. Sarah says:

so? I’ve had the same hair since I was 5. Kinda petty, dontcha think?

  13. Lara says:

@ Marjalane Michelle Pfieffer – The Fabulous Baker Boys. Great film!

  14. Melanie says:

OMG! Brad was so cute! I think she looks fine. People who constantly change their look always look back in regret at some of their choices anyways. She can still pull it off, I think.

  15. lucy2 says:

Jen’s style is so simple/classic, it’s easy for things to look the same over the years. She’s had different hair over the years, but as others have pointed out, that doesn’t seem to be in this article.

  16. NJMDPS says:

She looks great………everyone should just leave her alone. Find someone else to zero in on CONSTANTLY.

  17. Larissa says:

If you have a vacation property somewhere is likely that you will be there more often than somewhere else, which doesn´t mean she doesn´t go to other places!!!
As for sticking to the same salad for years, I do the same… not that I would only eat one specific thing, but when I have the opportunity I will stick to what I really like, so what?
I think Jen is pretty confident in who she is and what she likes, so she doesn´t feel the need to change with every new season!

  18. Charity is Chic says:

US Weekly recently ran a photo of a 12 year old Angelina Jolie. She had the same hair style she has now.

I believe, like Jen, she has only cut off her hair once in the last 20 years.

I think the all black outfits Jolie still sports go back almost as long.

I really am starting to wonder if the editor who replaced Janice Minn at Us Weekly has some sort of weird obsession with Jen or if he’s on someone’s payroll. The negative articles about Aniston occur almost daily at this point.

  19. SallyJay says:

Jen had him when he was FINE!! take that, Angie! heh.

  20. meme says:

Brad is now a MEN? think not. He had his balls back when he was with Jennifer. Not anymore.

  21. bite me says:

no Brad was Ken to jen wannabe barbie

  22. Kaiser says:

It’s like looking at a piece of toast thru the years.

She’s always been this bland. Take that, ANGIE!!!

  23. bite me says:

at least Brad has flavor to him now

  24. Melanie says:

He was a boy back then! Now he’s a GOAT!

  25. Roma says:

Wow, how adorable was Brad? I kind of forgot how much I had the hots for him back then.

  26. Amanda says:

He was so hot then. I guess some men just don’t age well.

  27. Melanie says:

I agree Guest, if the haters let go, she would probably fall off the radar. Disdain is making her famous. And rich!

  28. bite me says:

some people grow and change and some stay well…

  29. late night wigs says:

She’s an Aquarius, so it makes sense in a weird way.

  30. Alex says:

Brad is a man now back then he wasn’t. I will take this Brad now over the Brad back then, which imo was shallow and superficial. I don’t think he had any meaning to his life back in the golden days, now he does and I say good for you Brad. He have grown up unlike others, who still they are in their teens

  31. Sudini says:

I don’t see anything to criticize about her here. She looks better at 40 than she did at 30. And I think her style has been classic enough that it’s pretty timeless. It’s not like she’s still rockin’ the “Rachel”, lol.

She’s my “go to” person when I get discouraged about getting older. Just a good example of how much eating right and exercise can continue to pay off.

  32. danielle says:

She does look great – I think she just knows what works for her and sticks with it – nothing wrong with that. I do think she’s put on a teeny bit of weight and looks much better for it. Now I look at her and thinks she looks gorgeous, not omg she’s skinny!

  33. Lenore says:

Let’s face it (no pun intended), Aniston is a pretty lady but that jawline could become mannish in a heartbeat with the wrong haircut. Long, loose, tousled hair softens her bone structure. The observers may whine but the lady knows what works.

I’m the same way; I long to try extreme hair styles and more outre fashion choices, but then I look in the mirror and realise what a tosser I’m making of myself. It took me a long time to find ANY looks that work for me, and I’ll probably be working them forever. And look at it this way: she’s not going to look back and go, “Jesus Christ what was I wearing?”

You want wild, changeable fashion and hair, go look at Lady Gaga or Rihanna. Not everyone wants to be them!

  34. Ricci says:

    Jealous much? She looks awesome

  35. Cheyenne says:

Oy-vey, here we go. Brad was so hot. Brad used to look so hot. Jen looks so great. As if life was all about how you look.

I think Brad got sick and tired of playing Ken to Aniston’s Barbie and he realized that there is a lot more to life than looks, and that’s why he’s with Angie and their children.

  36. teri says:

I like Brad being a daddy and loving every minute of it.

  37. scorpiogal says:

Sudini- Totally! I find her inspiring in terms of aging as well. Having recently turned 31, I look forward to being just as hot in 10 years. Here’s hoping!

  38. chalmers says:

She’s as interesting as mayonnaise on white bread with a glass of milk. I don’t know why she has a film career. Such a snooze. She should be working a register at a Krogers.

  39. lisa says:

what the hell does Brad have to do with this. Really. When he and Aniston were together he was in his 30′s he is 46 now. GMAFB.. this man has a family and is happy..

    Gosh leave him alone

He has moved on and I bet anything he would not trade his life today for what it was 5 years ago.. Damn people are so obsessed with BRAD.. damn

  40. Solveig says:

At least we can also say that she has the same face she had years ago, and that’s a compliment IMHO, she doesn’t look overdone or weird as someone else does (don’t let me write THAT name, you know who’s the one I’m talking about).
As for Brad, I’ve never liked his face, but his body was quite hot.
As for the same hairstyle during the years there are very few women who change it as often as they change their panties, I can recall just Wynona Rider.

  41. miranda says:

“I bet anything he would not trade his life today for what it was 5 years ago.”

Which is why he looks so perky and full-of-life in every recent photo…

  42. ViktoryGin says:

    @ late night

See, the fact that she’s an aquarius would suggest that she would be more apt to change her style as the sign is associated with change and eccentricity. Then again aquarians are stubborn as hell.

  43. bite me says:

jennifer has always been a very handsome woman

  44. Cheyenne says:

LOL@ miranda. “Perky” is a term used to describe teenagers, not guys in their middle forties. I think Brad has reached the point where he doesn’t give damn how he looks. He has a successful career and a family he loves. The pretty-boy looks were yesterday and he left yesterday behind long ago.

  45. Cheyenne says:

@solveig: having the same face you had ten years ago isn’t necessarily a compliment. It can also indicate that you haven’t grown as a person.

  46. Bek says:

He really did look better then… makes me want to go pop in Legends of the Fall or Se7en. My husband looks a lot like him, sans the blond-ish hair. I think what I liked most about him was how down to earth he seemed. He never took himself seriously and stayed out of politics and such (which, in my opinion, celebs should. Most are school drop-outs, for crying out loud). At least in the good old days. Anyway, I’m rambling. As for this article in US weekly, it’s probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read. Not only are there countless celebs still rocking their best features, Aniston has changed it up and done different things with her hair/clothes. But those are conveniently forgotten…and if being “stuck in a time warp” means you get to look like you’re never aging, then please sign me up. I think it’s the mediterranean blood in her, though.

  47. nnn says:

Those pictures show her real age compared to what is usually said by many of her fans. She has aged and looks her age, not twenty something, not even early thirties..

Ain’t nothing wrong with that AT ALL but those two pictures could belong to a 40 year old well kept mum and her 20 years old daughter. She undoutedbly looked fresher and twenty something in the first picture.

As for the observation. It is no secret that jennifer herself said that she was a late bloomer and doesn’t want to be reminded that she is 40 saying she is 30.

Plus i beleive that having a child makes you mature more quicker and you tend to act and dress in a way that will show the difference in generations, not to resemble your daughter.

I am sure she would dress differently and act more mature if she had a teen daughter. Oh and i don’t think she would have dated a douche like Mayer too.

  48. Wow says:

JA rocks, but she really does need to mix it up a bit with her hair. It’s the same style over and over to the point that her characters even sport the same exact hair style in her movies.

  49. bite me says:

    http://jjb.yuku.com/topic/585114?page=1932

hell has frozen over here is a picture of jenny with the jolie please scroll down

  50. Solveig says:

@Cheyenne, having the face you had ten years ago when you already was a grown adult IS a compliment because that means that you are aging well, especially if you are preserving your body from natural decline in natural – non-surgical – ways. Of course I’m not saying that she hasn’t had work done, but maybe it was just her nose.

  51. Macheath says:

    @ Lenore
I totally agree. Aniston knows what accentuates her features and what will make her look like a tranny. This look works for her and I think she looks stunning. I would kill for a body that tight and I’m half her age =D

  52. La Cannuck says:

I agree Brad Pitt looked sweet back then but he also looked like maybe he was using lots of lemons just like Peaches

  53. mollination says:

That undated pic looks later than 99 to me. I was thinking ’04 (thinking back to friends when her chin started looking less pointed/heart-shaped-face and more angular)

  54. Cheyenne says:

@solveig: everybody’s face ages eventually; everybody’s body goes into a decline. Aniston looks damn good for 41, no argument there. But when I see her in the same hair style and the same miniskirts she wore when she was 20-something, I see a woman who is afraid to act or be her real age; who feels she must hang onto her looks at all costs because she knows that her looks are all she has going for her. And for a 41 year old woman, that is damn sad.

  55. Harper says:

She has always looked great, then and now. It’s just her style, simple and chic.

As for the discussion on Brad’s looks…He was “playing Ken” WAY before he was with Aniston (ahem, Gwyneth). To me, his eyes look dead now. I know that’s harsh, (he’s got 6 kids so I’m sure that takes it toll) but he looks haggard, beat down, and old. I miss the old Brad, now that was a handsome MAN.

  56. J says:

Blah blah blah….everytime I saw an Angie’s fan saying “Brad is happy with his family and his CHILDREN”, I always think, uh, the comments must come from women.

Come on! What happened between him and Angie is a “crime of passion” and nothing is wrong about it. Why justify with all these craps about children, family and charity works? If they are happy, they are happy.

Leave the ex-wife alone. She can be happy with her boring hairstyle and salad sans les enfants. Again, nothing is wrong about this.

Let it go already, women. Stop torturing each other.

  57. d says:

Meh, she looks pretty good, has a classic style that works for her. I’m the same age and DO NOT look anywhere near as good and healthy as she does, so kudos to her. The right diet and exercise and sleep does do wonders for sure. Not sure what other styles would look as good or better. The negativity against Aniston – including selective, biased reporting – is bizarre. Like, get off it already and move on. Just everyone else has by now. You know if she did change it up, people would be snarking about that and making up even more stories. It’s just so high school.

  58. jules says:

This is Us Weekly’s problem, not Aniston’s. They run no less than 4 negative stories a week on her, it’s a complete joke at this point. She looks great, end of story. Can’t say the same for Brad whose appearance has drastically changed for the worse in the last 5 years and I’m sure that has nothing (or everything) to do with his relationship…

  59. pumak says:

what an amazing woman! love her

  60. Solveig says:

Cheyenne, I don’t think she takes care of her looks just because they are all that she has, do you know her personally to say this? In any case she works in HW and we all know how women are considered in that industry after a certain age.
Nicole Kidman has ruined her face, Demi Moore spent hundred thousands dollar, both of them act this way to stay relevant in HW.
As long as she (Aniston) doesn’t look haggard she can dress as she wants because she looks damn good in most of the dresses she wears.

  61. bite me says:

crime of passion really, get a freaking grip will ya

  62. Sigh. says:

She just needs a stylist to better work within her “Cali Girl” boundaries. Like someone else mentioned, she had a nice blunt cut, but no mention of it in the article. Her body, awesomeness.

Keep in mind, when Keri Russell cut of her iconic hair, everybody flipped out. She’s Samson, she needs her hair. Big deal. Like she’s the only mediorce actress in HW completely wasting our time…

As for Brad: he could no wrong for me back then, but he has moved on, and so have I. Now him being “happy” in this life, how do we know that? He may or may not be, but how many more long-standing “happy families” have to break up before even the biggest fans/worst enemies figure out they know relatively nothing about these people?

  63. nnn says:

I personally don’t have a problem with her hairstyle. Most people keep the same hairstyle for decades and just change it much later in life.

The problem i often see is not with her hairstyle, it’s with her nack for super mini skirts that you usually pull at 20.

The problem is more about her lack of maturity when she speaks which can be cute when you are younger and pathetic when you are mature.

  64. Joan says:

@Cheyenne, interesting that you are the only one with continually negative things to say. The woman looks fabulous, period.

  65. Liz says:

She looks great! Fortunately, she found the look and has stuck with it. That look would be classic and she wears it well……….her gam’s are absolutely gorgeous.

At least she doesn’t wear black on a daily basis or have veins protruding from her arms and hands.

Keep doing what you are doing Jen!

  66. lb says:

What the hell some kind of hollywood rorschach test? I see a gorgeous woman who has a classic style that gets updated as time goes by…

  67. Lilias says:

She does not look the same as she did in the 90s. She’s not wearing velvet dresses and platform shoes.

I’m 24, and if I find something I like, I’m gonna stick with it.

I have a coat-classic black trench, that is 5 years old. I have a pair of grey sweat pants that I’ve had for about 10 years (seriously) that make my ass look great when I jog.

I don’t see anything wrong with liking something and wanting to keep it.

Now, Brad is Brad and is in a different place with a different person. He is irrelevant to this story aside from the picture where he looks dorky.

And Jen Aniston has something else besides her looks and that’s talent. She’s funny. Even if she is in crap movies, she’s a comedian first. She looks the way she does because she’s taken advantage of the money and access she has to look her best. Nothing wrong with that.

If Cheyenne had her way, all actresses over 40 would be wrinkly has-beens.

  68. Emma says:

    Jennifer aniston Can’t dress!
    always ugly style!

    always same shoes omg

do u know what style is? look at Victoria beckham Look at Rihanna.

    they know how to dress!

  69. e. says:

I think she looks good. She’s probably one of those people whose clothes never fade in the wash or never get stains from her meals and she can wear them for 10 years. Also, the pic where it looks like Brad is checking out her butt is awesome.

  70. Cheyenne says:

@Joan — did I say she looked bad? I said she looks damn good for her age. But she needs to come to terms with her age and realize her looks are not going to last forever and it’s all downhill from here. And she’d better start taking better care of herself than she has been. All that sun and cigarettes are taking one hell of a toll on her skin. Look at a close-up photo of her face and you’ll see what I mean.

Anyway, you totally missed the point — once you hit your forties, you’d better have something going for you besides looks. Aniston acts and dresses as if she realizes she has nothing else going for her and she’s desperate to hang onto what she’s got left.

@Lilias: if you want to see a woman over 40 who’s not afraid to be her age and is drop-dead gorgeous, take a look at Halle Berry.

  71. sashavice says:

Not a fan of Jennifer Aniston, however I think you’re looking too far into this. She has a signature style, it works for her-why switch? She has a fantastic body-look at those legs!

  72. mystic says:

I love JA! She looks great but needs to update that loooong past due ‘Rachel’ look. . . JA, it’s time for change.

  73. Wholesome1 says:

More power to her. JA’s had her share of the limelight, made a mint and doesn’t need to try. She can retire at any time and be a famous ex ’til the end.

  74. skibunny says:

She looks awesome!!!! Love her style!
I dont think she smokes anymore and doesnt appear to have any sun damage. Perhaps some of you are on crack?

  75. Kate says:

She’s so cute. I think it’s hilarious how similar these pictures are, ESPECIALLY that red pants/black tank outfit! Come on! But it truly seems to work for her… some people just feel very comfortable in their little ruts.

  76. Me says:

Sure she looks better. I look better too now in my 30ies than 10 years ago and I really don’t have had any rhinoplasty, botox, fillers or facelift yet, as opposed to Mizzz Aniston.

  77. sara says:

She’s a chain smoker who had the nerve to campaign for a cancer charity and has obviously had fillers to hide the damage. Then there are the multiple nose jobs. She is also a stoner, and there are multiple accounts of the big role that weed played in her marriage to Pitt, a known pothead.

She also has brown eyes and has been wearing blue contact lenses for years.

    Some genuine beauty. Yawn.

  78. Me says:

@Ricci: Well, I for one am not jealous. I’ve enjoyed much better success in my chosen field that this actress has (and will have) in hers. I look as good as I looked 10 years ago without any tweaking (as opposed to her). I have enough money to live a comfortable life. And guess what: I can even bitch about her online (superbitchy-style). Bingo!!! PS: Would you want to be Jeniffer Aniston??? Haha :-) ))

  79. late night wigs says:

    ViktoryGin-

Well, I am an Aquarius myself, so is my dad and both my grandmothers, and we can go both ways. Like, I would happily eat the same thing every day for lunch, but I am constantly changing my hair. So, we are stuck in our ways on some things, but out there in others. It’s a strange mix of conservative and safe, and out there and crazy. So it makes sense to me!

  80. paularoid says:

If it ain’t broke, DON’T FIX IT!

  81. Laura says:

Come on! She gets flak for keeping/wearing a pair of pants for ten years? How about we APPLAUD her for being somewhat frugal instead of the other celebrities who buy something for hundreds of dollars and then toss it in the trash the next day! She is REAL, she doesn’t need to glam herself up every appearance or change her style every few years… WHY CHANGE WHEN YOU LOOK THAT GOOD? Lord…..

  82. Ange says:

Getting a little tired of the same long straight stringy looking hair.

  83. PrettyTarheelFan says:

Self confessed Brange fan, but I have to hand it to this woman: She finds her look and she sticks! And nothing, nothing she is wearing looks dated. The outfits from the 90s would be perfectly acceptable today. It’s amazing! She likes classic looks, solid colors, and doesn’t get crazy-trendy.
I have a new respect for her fashion sense after this post. I don’t think it’s a time-warp-I think she’s got her groove down-pat. Good for her.

  84. Jaxx says:

I don’t get why people act like it’s a miracle that Jen looks good at 40. It is not hard to look good at 40, especially if you work at it as hard as she does. Forty is not the age that will get you–for women it’s 50. At 50 is when it becomes really difficult to fight aging. By then it is a battle every minute to keep your face and figure looking good, 40 was nothing compared to the 50′s.

  85. Crash2GO2 says:

Good lord, she does NOT have brown eyes – she has light green eyes, NATURALLY. Google it.

Cheyenne, you are really having to stretch to come up with the negative comments and it’s painfully obvious. I have seen close-ups of her skin, and seen ‘some’ sun damage, but not much. She just makes your skin itch doesn’t she? Biotch doesn’t have the grace to know when to look knackered and it’s pissing you off. lol

  86. hello! says:

As an artist, I really can’t stand this pumpkin-headed, fameho. She is the epitome of superficiality. She dresses bland, acts bland, and says every “you go girl!” cliche in the book. It’s like she was designed by a computer to be as inoffensive as possible.

She’s like the McDonalds of actresses. She picks terrible movies, and churns them out endlessly for money and fame.

What is there to admire here besides the absolutely superficial? She’s NOT Rachel; that’s just a silly role. Yet, people love her because they think they know her. Or, because she’s pretty. She has nice hair, and a nice body. How sad.

You might as well worship Wal-Mart. They are also famous and make loads of money churning out non-artistic, cheap crap. And their stores are always so neat and pretty, too!

And before the Jen fans go into their attack mode–let me say I’m not jealous (I have MORE values than the superficial in life!), and I don’t worship Angelina and Brad (I think the same of the both of them).

I just can’t stand all the celebs like Aniston and everything they represent. There’s more to life than a pretty face and a nice body. MUCH MORE.

  87. Crash2GO2 says:

Well hello there ‘artEEst’. My local Wal Mart store is anything but pretty. And I can confidently say that that million dollar painting of a red dot on a white canvas I saw hanging in a museum once, was a gigantic joke.

Depends on what side of the fence yer lookin’ from I guess.

  88. Majosha says:

Crash: Great responses to the two nutters.

  89. Lori says:

    flawless, perfect, godess, etc.

  90. Mistral says:

Ridiculous. Who cares? She doesn’t look outdated at all, and she’s found a hairstyle/length she feels best with. WHO CARES?

  91. She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named says:

@Hello and Crash: more please :)

  92. Paula says:

I don’t know why she’s kept this look for years. Long hair, whether blown straight or tousled, does not flatter her longish face with a longish nose. The iconic Rachel cut was a tough act to follow, but a creative stylist could wonders with Jen’s thick brown wavy hair. Her buddy Courtney Cox needs a new stylist, too. Few women over 40 have youthful faces that aren’t aged by the visual downward pull of long hair. Long hair is associated with youth, and trying to turn back the clock with long hair just doesn’t work. Even cosmetically plumped faces don’t lie. Offhand, Jane Seymour is the only middle-aged entertainer I can think of who is truly beautiful with long hair because it fits her classic English rose type.

  93. Crash2GO2 says:

Erm…Paula? Can you point out just EXACTLY where Jennifer Aniston’s nose is long?

    Thanks in advance.

  94. Jude says:

Wow, more than anything these pictures really show off all the work she’s had done on her nose and chin. She looks her age at 41 and has spent endless time and money to look the way she does now. Anyone can look really good if they spend a small fortune and a career out of it. No talent, boring personality. Yawn.

  95. Jag says:

It’s amazing that she looks just as good as back then, but Pitt seems to have aged 30 years. I would buy an honest, factual book from her outlining what she does to stay in such great shape and look so good. (Including facial regimes, like Botox, lasers or whatever.) Her skin is beautiful, and I love how toned she always looks. Her hair color is a bit straw-colored for my taste, as I liked her with more of a honey tone, but she still looks good.

  96. Mairead says:

She definitely looks healthier now that she no longer (allegedly) has Brad in her life.

What the hell does he do to his women? Even Juliette Lewis, who is wonderfully bonkers on her own, made some odd choices, even for her (corn-rows at the Oscars anyone?)

  97. Istanem says:

She is absolutely gorgeous and she gets better with age – well done!

  98. CeeCee12 says:

Also people please the woman uses botox, fillers and has had so much work done…including liposuction. Yes, she looks good but she also spends big money on it. She is obsessed with her looks.

While some see a woman who has found what she likes and sticks with it. I see boring and insecurity.
But it seems her fans only talk about how she looks and nothing else. Or how Brad looks so unhappy. Or pick on Angelina. Let the triangle go. They have.

  99. CeeCee12 says:

    I forgot to add:
She is most likely a good girl’s girl. I would probably like her a lot if I met her. She seems the kind of loyal friend who would be fun to travel with and gossip with. The women in her life seem to really like her.

I have never been a fan. I hated Friends and The Rachel. I hate her movies and her choices in men. I think she could so much better than she does. She does have some projects coming up that sound promising. I really hope they are good.

  100. Sandra says:

If she dresses the same way over so many years why are the dumb tabloids still saying she’s following Holie. I wonder who are the dumbasses who buy these tabloids ??

  101. Jo Fife says:

She is so hot it isn’t even funny! After 10 years she hasn’t changed a bit and that is a good thing! I hate seeing these older women trying younger hairstyles and younger revealing clothes to try and look younger than their age. Jen is a timeless classic and shouldn’t change a thing. Who cares what the others do keep doing what works for you because it is!

  102. Paula says:

“Erm…Paula? Can you point out just EXACTLY where Jennifer Aniston’s nose is long?

    Thanks in advance.”

From the the nasion and the pronasale.

    You’re welcome. :)

  103. DK says:

It seems to me whoever published this article thinks Jen is boring. She even picks the same boring movie parts. That being said another way to look at this is she is CONSISTENT. Entertainers are flaky as hell and isn’t that what we are comparing her to? It says to me she is grounded and centered–not a bad thing to be. I would love if she would challenge herself a little more in the movie arena and not be afraid to have her hair at least diff. in a movie (otherwise she is just not believable to me in the role becuz she doesn’t look diff than real life).

  104. kiki says:

I agree with you HELLO!!! I think Aniston is as fake as they come. What do women see in her? They seem to rush to defend her as if they are her mother. I guess their lives must be empty that they spend all their time here defending this untalented, tabloid queen who make statements like “I love the way John Mayer thinks thoughts! We adore each other!” Seriously . . .

  105. jola says:

i’m curious, is there any other actress who is disected like this woman? what is it about her. i would have thought sandra bullock and her problems would taken over by now.

  106. eternalcanadian says:

Never mind that Jen’s stuck in a time-warp, what the heck happened to Brad? Time wasn’t kind to him, for sure! :o

  107. PandaBear says:

Yeah… ok, her style is a bit boring and she doesn’t change it up much. I think she rocks what she has. Her hair really is amazing when you think about it. Problem is that her face is not a classic beauty. She can’t change up her style as much, because this style is what makes her beautiful. True beauties can change their hair color & style, makeup, etc. a lot more because they aren’t hiding anything behind their style.

  108. whatever says:

Aniston is an ARTIST? She’s not even an actor. To be called one, you have to try DIF’T characters. EVEN Roberts and Bullock have done it. Aniston only tried it once. Now, she’s a celeb who does anything for fame. Her friend said she gets up every morning and works on becoming more famous. That’s why she’s in the tabloids every week, folks. That’s what she wants.

  109. Camille says:

I couldn’t agree with: Paula, Jude and Whatever more. You guys said excellent comments and summed up this woman perfectly. She is more boring and bland than oatmeal and beige combined. I am happy to know that not everyone is stuck up this womans behind.

  110. Hey, at least she changed her nose in the past ten years. That’s something, right?

  111. PJ says:

Brad Pitt was great-looking as a young man, but he lost his looks when he hit 40. He looks unkempt and haggard now, and it goes deeper than lack of grooming or lack of sleep. Some people just don’t age well, and he’s one of them.

  112. Jerri says:

Give it up. She looks wonderful. You should look so good at that age.

  113. ogechi says:

She is classic, glitz, attractive, cute, gorgeous, stylish, beautiful….oh my- am lost of words!

  114. Camille says:

ogechi – Is that you Jenny Poo? LOL

  115. corine says:

@hello. Aniston’s fans are so shallow!
Acc. to them, she’s amazing because she’s so “attractive, cute, gorgeous, stylish, beautiful” Gosh, is looks all there is? She’s pretty, but I think she’s very shallow and uninspiring as a person. I mean her last movie was the equivalent of a Tarzan and Jane cartoon. How is that inspirational? I admire women with more substance.

  116. Cheyenne says:

C’mon Crashie, I know you think Jenny-poo’s poop doesn’t stink, but let’s face it, her skin in close-up looks like cured rawhide. All that sun and cigarettes are not doing her any good. Give her another five years and she’s going to look like Donatella Versace.

  117. racquel says:

    gotcha back

  118. Melly J says:

She is so amazingly beautiful – in a warm, approachable way! We all hope to be as lucky!!

  119. ogechi says:

Jennifer is also funny, sweet and a great actress. Saw two of her movies last night. I smiled all through. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE her!

  120. katherine says:

UGH, I can’t stand her! She’s the equivalent of nails on chalkboard to me. Sorry, but her sad PR “look at me” antics are no longer cute, especially letting Gerry Butler and letting the man finger her butt. Gross!
Katherine Heigl’s movie did much better than Aniston. Hopefully, Hollywood will replace her with Heigl. She’s way more interesting and feisty! Aniston is fake.

  121. snapnhiss says:

Well, since we’re comparing Brad Pitt’s wonderful and happy life to the lonely hell that Jennifer Aniston must inhabit… who looks healthy, happy and young and who looks tired, haggard and old? Sorry Brad fans, but Angelina has sucked the hot right out of him.

  122. karie says:

@122. Because looking HOT means everything, right? I feel bad for ppl who endorse such shallow, empty, souless views. People naturally age and they grow and they learn and they live. Looks will always fade, but intelligence and wisdom will feed the soul.

  123. josie says:

it’s not uncommon for people, especially women, to stick to a certain “period” that they felt most attractive in. it is still working for her, as she hasn’t chosen a trendy style, but it is just a matter of time before she needs a redo like all of us. anyway, if it ain’t broke…

  124. TomW says:

Interesting to see some tabloids are so desperate to find something wrong, in a deep need to embarrass, exploit, etc they resort to “Stuck in a Time Warp”. She has is and will continue to be my dream girl. Jen, you look fabulous!

  125. deeds says:

what is wrong with this magazine! they are ragging on her for, um, maintaining an absolutely lovely appearance for years, like THEY (and most of us) hope to be able to do. i feel so bad for jennifer, being relentlessly dissected by these people! :(

  126. Pat says:

Anyone know who the designer is of the nude-colored, swirly-front high heels she’s wearing in the first picture above? I want those shoes!
