Here are more photos of the Duke & Duchess of Sussex, plus Baby Sussex

Royal baby

Would you like to see more photos of the sweet Sussex baby? Of course you would! After the initial first three photos were released of the Sussex Three, I think they decided to release three more photos and these pics are super-cute too. One is of Harry and Meghan both looking at the baby and smiling. One is of Harry absolutely beaming as he looks at Meghan (he’s so proud of her!). And one is of Meghan looking at Harry with such devotion and happiness. They are truly blissed out.

It probably seems weird to even pay any attention to the negativity, but there’s been a lot of it directed at the Sussexes this week. Several royal reporters have been bitching about the timing of how the birth information was released on Monday, and they’re pissed that the palace waited so long to announce that Meghan was in labor. I get that the palace was sort of caught out – the palace had told reporters that they would release the “she’s in labor” information and the palace waited until Meghan gave birth. But let’s also be clear about something: even if the palace had released the info in a timely fashion, the royal reporters would still be bitching and moaning about *something*. They’ve set it up so Meghan and Harry will “fail” in their eyes no matter what they do.

Also: those same royal reporters are saying that we’ll likely get the name later today. I can’t wait to hear what it is! My guess is still Daniel Charles Henry, but I’ll also take Daniel Charles Philip.

Me too! They’re so glowy and beautiful.

    • NotSoSocialButterfly says:

Hahahaha!! Their unfettered joy gives me joy!!

    • (TheOG)@Jan90067 says:

Can I plotz with you? 😊 I woke late today, and literally grabbed the remote and yelled as I switched on the tv to catch the video. Then I realized I’d get it faster online, which I did… I’ve been “big” smiling ever since. Obviously, they’re strangers, but I am *so* happy for them! The looks of pure love…sigh… just so beautiful to see in a world that has become increasingly ugly.

Wishing they always be as happy as they are right now 🥂

  2. TheOriginalMia says:

Aww! They are so blissed out and deep into their love for each other and their babe. I really do like this rollout. Much more intimate and personable than previous ones.

    • Chimney says:

Agreed, this is so much calmer for the parents and then baby than a pack of press screaming at them on the street.

      • Anastasia says:

YES. I have no idea why they don’t all intro their babies this way. Standing on those steps outdoors and having all the clicking cameras going off and reporters yelling things, ug. No thanks. And just hours after the birth? No. I love the way they’ve done it.

    • Megan says:

These photos are so sweet. I love seeing people this happy.

    • Reece says:

Yes! I like this way so much more. You can actually hear them talk, it’s much better.

  3. Oh No says:

They look so sweet, I appreciate this more than a photo call on the steps. But at the end of the day as long as it’s the couple’s choice all is well

The Beyhive and Sussex Stans are already closing ranks on Twitter. It’s like watching the Unsullied rally Dany… It’s so beautiful 😭😍

This little boy is going to be so much fun to follow

  4. Christine says:

    Meghan looks radiant.

    • Diana says:

She is positively gorgeous!!!!!!! She’s gorgeous anyway you cut it, but I love her like this!!!! So natural and lovely.

  5. Beli says:

He’s such a cherubic little bub! I can’t wait to hear the name. I’m a fan of Daniel too, or something like Robert or Christopher.

    • Erinn says:

I agree on all counts. I like all of those names – something traditional but not TOO stuffy – and something that can support a cute nickname if they wanted.

I love that photo of them looking at the baby and laughing – it’s just such a natural looking one, and it is so joyful.

  6. Blacksred says:

Harry has not put the baby down at all. You can tell. So sweet

    • Bamaborn says:

Briefly, when he came out to make the announcement…Lol From what little bit you can see, that baby is gorgeous!

  8. Deedee says:

I like that Harry dressed up and looked sharp for the occasion as well. They both look over the moon for that baby.

  9. Bunny says:

Meghan and Harry look so happy! Hoping that every day is as happy as today for them.

  10. Abby says:

That look from Harry looks like he still can’t believe his luck………I just love how much they love each other and that back rub when they were leaving….swoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The statement said The Duchess went in labour in the early morning, The Duke was with her”. WENT, WAS. All PAST TENSE. But what these reporters and several networks did was gloss over it and only read “Duchess Meghan, Labour” and now are trying to blame their own idiocy on the palace who, by the way, have openly said they intended to release the statement an hour earlier but there was a system delay. It’s gross how they can’t even wait for Harry and Meghan to finish celebrating their new addition before ripping into them. Camilla Tominey has written an awful and factually incorrect article in the telegraph today (Richard Palmer too), Morning shows are having “Did Meghan deceive the British public” segments. Criticism is one thing, but this is in a league of its own.

    • Megan says:

The royal reports are so freaking entitled. They act like Baby Sussex is their personal property.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

The Fail has a hit piece on her new press sec, Sara Lantham. Saying that the press were not notified of the announcement via email which is the usual way, apparently there were tech cliches with emails from Windsor. Considering the castle is 1,000 years old, I don’t think William the Conqueror really considered WIFI/broadband when he built it.

      • Mego says:

I wonder if reporters get sour because there is too much pressure on them to publish stories in a timely manner in this instant news world. Perhaps their lives get really disrupted by the too high expectation to feed the public’s need to know and have the exclusives or break the story first etc. Not to excuse the reporters vindictive behaviour but try to see from their point of view.

      • Heather says:

Oh no. William the Conqueror totally thought of WiFi when he had the castle built and all other monarchs since have made sure the grounds are fully broadband capable at all times. It’s Meghan’s American Feminism that has disrupted the service. It’s all her fault, like always.

    • BayTampaBay says:

The Times is better than the Telegraph.

    • notasugarhere says:

The Palace does not tend to make announcements or send out press releases in the middle of the night. They would have waited until the Queen was awake, informed her of what was happening, then released the statement. The bitter RRs are trying and failing to change the narrative.

      • Tina says:

Except that one time when they summoned all the staff overnight when Philip was retiring and everyone thought he had died. Best avoided!

  12. Becks1 says:

They look so happy. yay! new babies and happy families make me so happy.

  13. Elisabeth says:

I want them to name him Henry

  14. minx says:

    Just perfection.

  15. Mamasan says:

I bet gan-gan will snuggle this adorable one later today. I know I would. I love being a grandma.😊😊😊🥳🥳🥳🥳♥️♥️♥️

  16. Abby says:

Seriously love it so much. All of it. This makes me so happy.

  17. Jen says:

The last picture where Harry is looking at her reminds me of my own family pictures. “Look at the camera so we can be done. JUST LOOK. No, not at me, at the camera!” She looks like she’s ready to go back to her comfy room and he is too busy looking at her to get it done.

  18. Mego says:

So let me get this straight. Meghan, claimed by many to be a fame and attention seeking narcissist, had Harry carry the baby so the he and baby would be front and center. 🧐

The smears don’t line up with the facts people.

    • OriginalLala says:

the racist trolls who hate Meghan don’t understand facts – the hate being thrown her way about the birth is nutso. Some people clearly do not have enough going on in their lives to be so obsessively hating someone they have never met.

  19. ChillyWilly says:

Aw, they are so happy and it shows! That little nugget is precious! I can’t wait to see more pics and learn his name. Screw all the negative press! I don’t understand how anyone can find something nasty to say about a baby’s birth! Ridiculous.

  20. Junebug says:

I love everything about these pics. Does anyone have an ID on her necklace please? I love it. X

  21. vava says:

    So adorable!!

  22. Uppenyrcraut says:

My prediction is the baby will be Markle-y in looks, the one pic of his little face he has her nose for sure. First borns often seem to look like the opposite gendered parent…for instance I am first born and distirbingly. Am just my dad with boobs…lol

  23. Beech says:

She looks so soft and radiant.

    • AryasMum says:

I really like her here. She’s usually so poised and measured, most likely from her actor’s training, and probably where some get the “fake” vibe. Here she’s giggly and fluttery. It’s adorable. She’d giddy and not trying to temper the emotion.

  24. Kk2 says:

Adorable. I’m not that desperate to know name bc in doubt it will be anything exciting. Mildly curious I guess.

If my husband told me he was “proud” of me after having a baby, I’d be kind of put off honestly. It’s patronizing to me. I’ve had one (in no epidural “natural” fashion) and am about to have another. I can totally understand a man having newfound respect and gratitude for his wife after witnessing that. But proud? Eh. Look, once it’s in there, it has to come out. Not pushing it out is not really an option. So someone being proud of me for something I had very little choice in just makes me want to roll my eyes. Like someone patting me on the back and saying they were so proud of how I vomited out my entire stomach contents when I had that stomach flu. Or how I passed that kidney stone. Um thanks?

    • Surly Gale says:

KK2: Couldn’t they be proud of how you handled yourself. Like, you handled yourself with good humour during the vomitus flu and when you passed the kidney stone, instead of using every foul word you ever knew in front of the kids, you sang Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious at the top of your lungs? Maybe your husband was proud that during your pushing, you gracefully thanked the nurse for some small gesture.
What I am trying to say is: your “feminism”, seems misguided and misplaced, in this instance, in my opinion.

      • Anna says:

While I agree with your point, nowhere did Kk2 label her stance as “feminism”. No need to muddy the waters, the word gets misused and trashed enough as it is.

      • Kk2 says:

Could be, but it is patronizing to me. Not saying every woman should feel the same way I do. But when I have the stomach flu or am in the primal state of pushing a baby out (which felt a lot like a terrible stomach flu), I am not seeking or interested in the approval of anyone else re their perception of how I handled it. It’s such a non sequitur to me.I guess it’s hard to articulate. I am a huge fan of Meghan’s and I think Harry could be proud of her for many reasons but getting the baby out of her is not one of the top 100 most impressive things she’s done. It is something that literally any woman can and will do if she ever finds herself pregnant (and god forbid something goes wrong, it’s not that woman’s fault either). I do think most men who witness it have a newfound respect for women in general and it should make them understand how absurd it is to think women are weaker or less tough (or to use the term p***y to criticize someone’s toughness).

    • Mego says:

The whole “push present” thing must drive you nuts too. We’ll be hearing speculation about that in due course.

  25. Monique says:

So beautiful you can just tell those two really love each other they are a perfect match and Baby Sussex is absolutely gorgeous

  26. Melody says:

Would the baby’s last name be Sussex? Sorry I’m kinda of an idiot with royal names. If it is I think Spencer Sussex would be amazing!!

  27. sassafras says:

I love how they hate when Meghan sends emails early in the morning except when she doesn’t because she is GIVING BIRTH. They’re all rotten. Give Meghan and Harry back to the United States. We’ll treat them right.

  28. jessica says:

Frederick (Freddie!), Leopold (Leo!), Stephen, Roman or Augustus.

  29. Reece says:

They are so blissfully happy and I’m happy for them. I keep looking at the pictures and honestly I don’t have much to add.

  30. Lowrider says:

Harry look so happy and excited. Meghan looks calm.

  31. gia says:

    What hair?
