By now, all of the royal-gossipers have clocked the narrative that the Duchess of Cambridge traveled from Norfolk to London with her kids and not William. This is not some “Kate storms back to London after a falling out about his affair with Rose Hanbury” story. Kate and the kids returned to London because George’s school has started back up, and because William had already left England for this trip to New Zealand. The Queen asked William, as a senior royal who barely has anything scheduled, to go to NZ to honor the men and women who passed away in the Christchurch mass shooting. He’s also there for Anzac Day, which is today. His visit began in Auckland, where he attended the Anzac Day services with prime minister Jacinda Ardern.
William will only be in New Zealand for two days, although with the flights to and from NZ, it probably feels more like a five-day trip. It’s also interesting to me that as soon as William was out of England, all of the online whispering started – almost as if William personally has a vise-grip on all of the rumors about his possible affair with Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and as soon as he’s physically not IN England, the rumor-mongering starts up. This is interesting, huh?
So theres a UK media blackout on the rumour/fact that Prince William cheated on Kate.
And by blackout I mean: lets make a huge deal over every little thing Meghan Markle does because ya know… shes a bit brown.

The Rose Hanbury story really has disappeared in the past few weeks, almost like UK journalists are terrified of digging into it, or maybe William really has been encouraging the media to go after Meghan instead. It will be interesting to see how this sh-t plays out in the weeks and months to come – when his dad cheated, there was no social media, no way for rumors to spread except through the kind of dinner-party gossip which likely started this whole thing – people began learning about the Rose-William story because aristocrats in Norfolk were gossiping about it. Then journalists picked it up, then William freaked. Now the story is only happening on social media, basically.
