Jordyn Woods did an unpaid interview which will probably get her sued, how dumb

BEAUTYCON Festival 2017

Is it just me or does it feel like this whole Khloe Kardashian-Tristan Thompson-Jordyn Woods story has moved really fast? I think that’s probably the point – these people are disposable celebrities, and if they milk one narrative for more than 24 hours, people stop paying attention and that’s the whole point of all of this, to get attention. It was just two weeks ago, that’s when everything started. Jordyn and Tristan hooked up. It got back to Khloe in a matter of days, if not hours. The Kardashian-Jenners shunned Jordyn. Kylie kicked her out of the guest house. They canceled all of Jordyn’s work with the family. And instead of breathing, taking stock of what happened and maybe figuring out if anyone would PAY for her side of the story, Jordyn just hopped off to do an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith’s show this week. How dumb. On so many different levels.

Jordyn Woods could find herself in some legal hot water if she spills too much Kardashian tea on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show … because we’ve learned she signed a contract with the famous fam promising to muzzle herself. Sources familiar with the non-disclosure agreement tell TMZ … Woods — who’s been on ‘KUWTK’ for years — signed to an NDA, which prohibits her from disclosing details about the lives of Kris, Kim, Khloe and the rest of the brood.

Woods posted a video Tuesday teasing her Friday appearance on Jada’s “Red Table Talk.” The show was shot late Tuesday morning. We don’t know what was said and no one’s talking. However, one source familiar with the conversation tells us Jada’s intention was “to create a healing between Jordyn and Khloe.” We’re told Jada wanted to give Jordyn a platform to tell her story. Nevertheless … we’re told the Kardashians are pissed she’s now trying to spin her story without first apologizing to them.

[From TMZ]

I’ve never been asked to sign an NDA, so I don’t know how it feels. Obviously, I love to gossip and I know that about myself, so if someone was like “I can’t even work with you unless you sign an NDA,” I’d be like “well it was nice knowing you, I’m gonna tweet about this.” Some of those NDAs are no joke, and the Kardashians could (and likely will) sue the pants off of Jordyn. Seriously, how dumb is this girl? She had a charmed life, being the official BFF of a billionaire. She lived a spacious and lovely guesthouse. She worked as a “model” and “makeup person” and she appeared on a reality show. All of those revenue streams and perks are now gone. And then she agrees to an unpaid interview which will probably get her sued. Jordyn, please hire someone to help you because honey, you are a f–king mess.

“She had a charmed life, being the official BFF of a billionaire. She lived a spacious and lovely guesthouse”….that’s why I think PMK is behind this bs. Imho it was staged.

  2. Ronaldinhio says:

Surely some sort of big reveal which will allow her back into the fold

Jada is a Kardashian friend, Jordyn is a Kardashian friend. I hope this is just a vehicle to ditch Tristan
We need to take the focus of Jordyn and place it on Tristan where it belongs

    • BchyYogi says:

Seems like the K’s sucked off her genuine Blackness & clawed her eyes out when she wasn’t “well behaved”. I’ve said it before, I have that gigantic white savior radar ( I was “taken in” by a “nice white family” then ditched when I wasn’t trophy material at age 18, no family, no money, just yrs of soul sucking polite racism ) Hell. They “owned” her. Career, home, reputation. Deafening white savior alarm bells.

  3. Kerfuffle says:

Jordyn Woods isn’t going to end up penniless out on the street. The Kardashians don’t exactly hang with random public school kids (neither do the Smith family, she’s tight with Willow and Jaden). But this whole angle amplified the drama and that’s what PMK wants.

And the more I read about this, put me in the column of ‘this whole thing is a setup’.

  4. Clare says:

I’ve said on here before, that my husband’s family is aristo adjacent and he went to one of ‘those’ schools – I’ve been asked previously to sign an NDA (when I was ‘just’ a girlfriend) before we went on holiday with some of his school friends. Apparently it is super standard and when people are itchy about signing them, they pretty much are considered a no-go in terms of bringing them around.

At the time I was confused/annoyed by the whole thing, but went along with it (I was 22) – now I realise this shit is for life, but I also see why people feel they have to protect themselves from the leaks etc…

The basic terms are, just don’t talk about us – ever. I’m also told they aren’t really enforceable, but the payoff for selling stories would probably not be worth the legal drama that may ensue.

    • Bubble bee says:

I think the money she could make from a tell all book would probably be worth the breaking of any nda she might have signed that would be legally enforceable. Considering that she’s 21 if she signed one under 18 it’s likely not even legally enforceable.

    • Kerfuffle says:

Within the terms that you’re discussing, they are VERY hard to enforce.

      • Clare says:

I feel like they are next to impossible to enforce in terms of punitive consequences- but there is reputational risk attached, especially if you’re a ‘professional’ providing services to people. No one would want to work with a hair stylist, who breaks an NDA, for example.

I think Woods could probably get a big payoff doing a tell all and then doing the media round for a year or so – but after that I can’t imagine many people above a certain standard would want to work with her if she’s known for flouting NDA’s? Shrug.

      • BchyYogi says:

I agree, plus the K’s have a rep for culture vulture-ing. What financial lures kept this young woman so indebted- home, career, etc? Seems like a court case would be -more- in Jordyn’s favor if she plays is right- and I HOPE she does!!

  5. Erika says:

I don’t think this is staged. Jordyn has nothing to gain from this, and being cheated on so publicly is humiliating. They stage a lot of stuff, but u don’t think this is one of their tricks.

If anything, I think this is just karma. Let’s not forget Tristan left his other baby mama for Khloe. She really think he wasn’t going to step out on her too?

  6. Kittycat says:

If this was real, it’s not, then I’d say what an idiot.

But maybe Jordyn got bored with dealing with the Kardashians and wanted to Kash out.

But this is fake as hell.

  7. JoJo says:

Jordyn will be fine. Her mom lives in Calabasas. Will and Jada are like family. It’s not like she has to move to the projects or a trailer park.Personally I think it’s fake but if it’s not I hope she exposes this family of liars, culture vultures and hypocrites.

  8. Ann says:

If I were in Jordyn’s position I would have at least tried to get a breast lift out of the deal before I screwed myself out of being Kylie’s pet. Maybe that’s mean but speaking as someone with big, saggy boobs that have been saggy since I was a teenager I can’t help but notice and think if I had the resources for a free reduction and lift I’d take it. Of course maybe she can’t for some reason I don’t know and I’m just being rude. Whatevs. Any possibility of Kardashian subsidized plastic surgery is off the table so it doesn’t matter.

    • Throwaway1010 says:

Seriously Ann this comment sucks so badly. That’s what you have to add to the story?

    • Bubble bee says:

Jordyn isn’t poor. If she wanted a breast lift I’m sure she would get one. Some people like their bodies and don’t want to make drastic changes to them, even if you don’t personally feel the same.

      • Ann says:

I’m not really coming from a place of judgment about how they look, more about how much second hand discomfort I get from seeing her braless often enough. The boob sweat alone… I wonder this about Kim too, although I’m pretty much convinced Kim’s are fake because they are just too perky for being that size after 2 children.

But you’re right, she could have done it if she wanted to.

    • GreenQueen says:

I agree with you 100. Also, to answer the commenter below, no Jordyn does not appear happy with her appearance considering how much she has paid to change it this last year. She claimed for years that she did not want to fix her tooth gap and then she fixed it this last summer and tried to slide it past everyone and got called out by her “fans”. Her breasts look really saggy, I am super surprised she hasn’t fixed them. My saggy boobs are the first thing I would fix if I were richer. Whatevs this whole situation has been super entertaining and I kinda love how bad everyone looks

      • Patty says:

Breasts come in all different shapes and sizes. Some women naturally have what some would call saggy breasts. Some women like their breasts regardless of perkiness and wouldn’t change them even if they could.

What I think is funny is how easily people bandy around getting a breast job, which is pretty serious surgery; and risk all kinds of complications, including death just to say their tits are perkier. Mind boggling.

Also, the interview hasn’t aired yet. We have no idea what she’s going to say – it’s a little early to a) call her dumb and b) assume she’s going to get sued. I’m disappointed to see so many just going along with Kardashian talking points as if they’re facts.

    • jay says:

This girl is so f-cking homely I’m sorry. The fact she has like 9m followers only proves how powerful the K klan is, not that she is special or relevant in the slightest. What a forgettable milquetoast nothing person.

    • Pandy says:

Laughing at your comment, Ann. Jordyn is the human equivalent of a baked potato without salt, pepper, butter or sour cream.

    • Snowflake says:

I hear you girl. I’m a 38DD and mine are so saggy. An estimate of 5k for a breast lift but hubby doesn’t think i should go under the knife unless i have to. But he says it’s up to me, of course. I’m still thinking about it

  9. Lorelei says:

I’m probably giving her waaaaay too much credit here, but my initial thought was that maybe she figured her chances of being forgiven by the K’s would be better if she did not profit from this at all.

Also, I saw her referred to as “the Hester Prynne of Calabasas” and cannot stop laughing.

  10. Bubble bee says:

Even if she has signed a nda that could be considered legally binding, she’s only 21 so anything she signed as a minor is likely not going to hold up, she’s better off paying out the terms of the contract and spilling the beans. What a lot of people haven’t realized, but I’m hoping jordyn has, is that this is her Kim Kardashian moment. The amount of press she is getting and the amount of attention and eyes she has on her now makes this the perfect time to blow up. Honestly who wants to be someone’s lackey for the rest of their life? She’s really dumb if she doesn’t hire new media people and get her self a good publicist. She needs to take advantage of this.

  11. Erin says:

I don’t think it was so dumb. Will Smith is like her uncle and is a very savvy celeb . If she went on Jadas show it’s a very calculated power move to save her career.

  12. Unmade_bed says:

I heard that, in the interview, Jordyn will be claiming that the hookup happened while she was “blacked out.” It’s the perfect excuse, and one I haven’t heard since high school.

    • Hyacinth Bucket says:

If that’s true it means she was raped.

      • Unmade_bed says:

I also remember hearing that all they did was “make out”? Either way, there is certainly a fine line when sexual activity and drugs are combined as to what constitutes assault.

      • HeyThere! says:

H BUCKET: thank you! I was thinking the same thing but haven’t seen anyone else say that. When you are blacked out you therefore can’t give consent.

Idk you guys, I just do not think this is fake. I mean why on Earrh would she do this to herself? She didn’t need money or fame? Also, she’s 21 years old. If all she did was make out with TT, she really deserves a pass. All this over a sloppy makeout sheesh?? There is so much more to life than this. I don’t comment on celeb Instagram pages but I left her a ‘keep your head up’ type message, ‘this too shall pass’, sort of thing in a sea of ‘you dirty &$@!*’ comments. Literally hundred thousand of comments?! Maybe I’m getting soft in my old age(I’m low 30’s)?!

  13. sereneeirene says:

I think they need new writers.

  14. Mel says:

This is all fodder for the KUWK grist mill. Drama for the show. YAWN.

  15. HeyThere! says:

I wonder if the Kardashians are nervous because she knows alllllll the secrets!!!

    • Clare says:

There have been others that new all the secrets (a stylist and make up artist whose names I can’t recall +others) but I can’t remember a single person who was once in their inner circle, talking to the media. Kris either puts in place pretty stringent NDA’s, or makes it worth their while to keep quiet. No doubt the same will apply to Jordyn – especially as if she DID mess around with Tristan and this isn’t a story line – she’s shady AF.

  16. me says:

Well she has a right to tell her side of the story. The problem with the Kardashians is they only want THEIR side told.

I still think this is all fake. Does anyone not find it odd Jordyn’s “storyline” was added AFTER she lost weight and had a full make-over? Now she’s “Kardashian approved” to be a main character on their show or get a spin off produced by PMK.

  17. Bunny says:

Kaiser said: “I’ve never been asked to sign an NDA, so I don’t know how it feels.”

I’ve signed both NDAs and non-compete clauses prior to employment.

It feels odd, honestly. You begin wondering if you should sign it, if you’re signing away rights, if you’ll regret it later.

I didn’t really regret it in the end, though.

The pay was good, the work was interesting, and I learned a lot. I couldn’t work for a company that did related work for five years after I left, but by then I’d moved up and on to a different career.

  18. Millenial says:

I still think all of these stories are way too Jordyn focused and Tristan is pretty getting off scot-free. I just think there’s a blatant sexism with the way the Kardashians are treating her in the media vs. Tristan.

    • jules says:

I was noticing the same thing. I don’t care about any of these people, but suddenly Jordyn is making headlines and getting publicly trashed. Well the K Klan are master manipulators with the media.

  19. Flying Fish says:

Jordyn is now notorious, use that notoriety to create a lucrative career/business venture, like Kim K did!!!!

  20. Oliviajoy1995 says:

Idk. Her mom is a well known PR person. I would think she would have advised Jordyn against doing this interview if she signed a NDA. But if she’s only talking about the situation with Tristan does that even fall under NDA protection for the Kardashians? I mean this Tristan situation directly involved Jordyn she should be able to talk about it if she wants to. It’s not fair the Kardashians get to send out stupid social media commentary on Jordyn all the time but she can’t retaliate.

  21. Thatsenoughmarie says:

Is no one else bothered by the obvious pro-Kardashian plants slamming Jordyn’s looks in such a disgusting way?

  22. elbly says:

I wonder if Jordyn had, unbeknownst to even her, unconscious resentment toward the K-J’s (a la Kelly Rowland’s song about Beyoncé) that she acted out (and regrets now…!). Even though she was treated very well by any standard, and holding a golden ticket, that kind of resentment is emotional, not rational.

On a separate note, I hope it’s not true that Jada is hoping to facilitate a “healing” between Khloé & Jordyn, in a public forum while the offending incident is so recent. Does that seem in poor taste to anyone else?
