Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts split after 11 years – who is next?!

73rd Venice Film Festival - 'The Bleeder' - Photocall
I’ve said that if Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts ever split up I would need time to get over it. I am sitting here eating a pint of caramel gelato with rolos mixed into it because that time is now. Star Magazine reported in January that Naomi and Liev had split and were going to keep it amicable for their kids. Then they were seen out together with their sons Sasha, 9, and Samuel, 7, with Naomi instagramming a photo of Liev around that time. They went to SAGs together in February and walked the red carpet at the premiere of their joint film together, a boxing biopic called The Bleeder, at the Venice Film Festival and at TIFF. They looked relaxed and happy and like everything was fine, however Liev took their oldest son with him to the Emmys last week. Well their movie is out, The Emmys are over, Ray Donovan’s season just wrapped and Liev and Naomi announced that they’ve split. They’ve been together since 2005 (here’s a link to the story of how they got together) and they never married.

“Over the past few months we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple,” Schreiber and Watts said in a joint statement to PEOPLE.

“It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy,” the statement continued.

A source on the set of Schreiber’s Showtime series Ray Donovan tells PEOPLE, “They have been on the rocks for quite a while.”

[From People]

TMZ claims that Liev and Naomi have been living apart since January, which is similar to what People’s source is saying and is also consistent with Star’s reporting at the time. So they’ve tried to make it work, it hasn’t, and they’re broken up now. I do think that they’re going to try to keep it above board and won’t leak stories to the press, but we’ll see. It’s promising that this is a joint announcement and that it’s so cordial and frankly – nice. I would think Naomi is behind it as she just got fed up, but it’s hard to tell.

I’m not surprised at all. We all saw it coming. It’s sad still, they were a nice couple. Both vanilla and milktoast-y, but nice.

    • Lora says:

Really? I never heard anything bad about them…

      • Artemis says:

He often cheated on Naomi with civilians but there was one big story a few years ago. One of his hook-ups spoke to Australian outlets about their dalliance during a wrap party of his film. Strange how it was so quickly buried in American tabloids…

I remember then finding stories of other civilians who slept with Liev and him being a known cheater so you got a lot of ‘chance’ to hook-up which for some of these fans is music to their ears.

      • Lilo says:

Well, if he’s so easy I shall volunteer as tribute. Man, I’d climb that.

      • KittenTime says:

Jesus is there any guy in Hollywood who doesn’t cheat?
I’m so sad…I LOVED them. But I’m more a fan of Naomi.

      • JenniferJustice says:

I never understood his appeal and have always thought he was beneath her. Sorry, but she can do better. Most of these women can b/c a man who cheats is no man at all. Same for women. Don’t care about looks or fame, if they don’t have character, integrity, and are so selfish to hurt the person like that whom they’re suppose to love more than anyone else, they got nothing.

      • ell says:

we always assume it’s cheating, but i’m willing to be it’s not always the case. maybe they had an open relationship, since despite all the rumours they’ve lasted so long.

      • sunny says:

All men cheat. If you think otherwise you’re deluded. If they haven’t done it yet it is only for lack of opportunity. I’m not bitter or anything, just stating facts. It’s unfortunate but better to not live in a fantasy land.

      • Yeah, I’m on the “all men cheat” bandwagon. I’m not bitter, but realistic; every single guy I know has cheated or is open to it. My grampa, my dad, my father in law, my three brothers, my brother in law, my co-workers, my friends. ( I know women who cheat too, but the number of women who do are much less. ) I’ve been married 23 years and while my husband had given me no reason to be suspicious, (yet) LOL. I wouldn’t be shocked. Mad? Yep. Shocked? Nope.
Actors, athletes, musicians who are good looking and famous and rich and have pu$$y thrown at them all the time , hell yes, they cheat. I’m never shocked when I hear about it. I’m only shocked when they manage to be discreet, because in this day and age every groupie wants their 15 minutes.

      • Andrea says:

Women cheat too—I have known quite a few married women who cheat also. It isn’t simply a man thing.

      • ell says:

everyone cheats, i don’t think it’s just men.it’s the problem with long term relationships, after many years you run out of steam. i’m sure some couples can make it work regardless of this, but still.

      • Jag says:

Just want to jump in and say that I don’t agree that all men cheat or that everyone cheats. I have been in multiple long-term relationships and didn’t cheat, nor did they. We broke up for other reasons.

        Some people are monogamous.

I do think Liev cheated, though, from the reports that have been floating around for years.

      • Katherine says:

Jag, I agree. This is the smartest comment I’ve seen so far.

The “all men cheat” logic is just a cop-out for men who can’t control themselves. That goes for women, too. Not “all” of one group of people do something, so I call BS on that. Sorry. Put the blame where it belongs, on the person who cheated – man or woman. It’s not an “all men cheat” or “all women are ****es” thing. It’s a “That person just isn’t the faithful kind” thing. Accountability is key. If you’re so jaded, you think all men act that way since that’s what you’ve experienced in your group of friends and family, then: a) That seems to be a family trait more than anything else; and b) Maybe you need to re-evaluate what kind of men or women you’re hanging out with. And for those who were cheated on, learn from it and make better choices in men. Choose wisely.

      • Sparkly says:

I’m with Katherine. “All men cheat” is ridiculous. Any blanket statements usually are, but let’s get rid of the low bar we allow to be set. My husband is SO against cheating, as he was cheated on in very hurtful ways in the past. And no, I’m not delusional; if anything, *I* would be the one more likely to cheat than him.

But I won’t. I’m also about transparency and informed consent. I always thought Liev and Naomi had an open relationship. Many people do, and it works just fine for them without anyone ‘cheating’. Perhaps I was wrong, or perhaps something else just isn’t working for them.

    • QQ says:

Right, I don’t understand the surprise when there have been stories circling since early in the year, I assumed that they simply didnt want us in the know til they had their sh**t together

    • Yolie C. says:

Yea I always thought she was too good for him. I’ve heard multiple cheating stories about him and I’m inclined to believe them. I really don’t get his appeal at all.

  2. Onerous says:

Who else? All of my friends, that’s who. Seriously, my husband and I feel like we’re the only people we know NOT getting divorced!

    • paolanqar says:

Yes me too. I am getting a bit nervous now.

      • Onerous says:

Right!? We keep saying, “We’re good, right!?” Lol! We really are good, but it’s been very unsettling.

    • SilverUnicorn says:

      Ditto!!

    • Nicole says:

Reasons I see no need to ever get married personally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Although these guys were never married but still…11 years wow

      • SilverUnicorn says:

Sorry but it doesn’t mean anything………
I was together with a guy for nearly a decade and never felt to marry him…. I got together with my husband and after 9 months we were married. Still married after years…
The trick is getting married with the right guy, if you have an inkling something is off, don’t ever get married ;-) simple.

      • Nicole says:

        I need your attitude Silver!

      • vauvert says:

I really don’t think that HW marriages and divorces are relevant to the rest of us “normal” people. Even the a**holes in HW get people throwing themselves in their bed, regardless of marital status, because such is the cult of celebrity. IRL, people are more likely to divorce because they fight over kids, money, jobs. addiction – not because the hot red head had been making a play for the husband or the wife slept her way around with every hockey coach (which she’d better not, seeing how my husband is one).

I think they all have it so easy in a way as far as life is concerned – money, fame, assistants and staff – they see every hardship or argument as a deal breaker. The rest of us…. we are used to keeping our heads when we hit a difficult time that stresses a marriage, whether it is illness or job loss or whatever.

      • JenniferJustice says:

I agree for the most part, but the fact is, for some reason HW views infidelity differently than us normal folk. They may even enter into marriages with “understandings” but that doesn’t mean they won’t still split up over it eventually. That’s a hard thing to live with whether you signed up for it or not.

      • Chinoiserie says:

Relationships, in including ones like these were you are living together and have children, that are not marriages fail at even faster rate but since they are unofficial these studies do not get that much uttention unlike the official marriage statistics. So if you are avoiding marriage for this reason you should not. The underlying issues why people break up are the same. I think the main one just is that breaking of relationships including marriages is just easy and not judged that much by society.

      • Katherine says:

vauvert, completely agreed. You can’t gauge infidelity or marriage based on Hollywood, they’re the last people in the world I’d use as a model, especially regarding “normal” relationships and marriages.

      • Liberty says:

vauvert, I agree with you, too.

    • ell says:

this. tbh given how many of my friends and acquaintances come from a split household (me included), it always surprises me when people say ‘well it’s hollywood!’. no it’s not; normal couples around me seem to get divorced just as much.

      • Andrea says:

I agree–at 35 I know more divorced than married couples and my parents in their 60′s have added up all the marriages they’ve been to in past 30 years and they said 3/4 are divorced now and they’ve started to go to 2nd and 3rd weddings of friend’s of theirs children.

    • SpecialK says:

My husband and I got divorced in 2012 after being together for 12 years. We got back together in 2014 and are doing awesome. Still not married. Not in any hurry to get married, either. We’re happier than we ever were and spoil each other….He just built me my dream kitchen and I just got him his dream car. If it happens to you, it might not be the end! ;)

    • Caz says:

A lot of people I know are splitting after 10-15 years together too. If a relationship is unfixeable it’s a sensible way to go.

  3. MrsBPitt says:

and another one bites the dust….

  4. Artemis says:

Their break-up was only a matter of time. Liev is a known cheater. Still I ‘mourn’ because goddamn they were so hot together.

    • Locke Lamora says:

He does give me low key douche vibes.

      • Yolie C. says:

Yes that’s the perfect description! I couldn’t quite put my finger on why he bugged me but yea that’s it. “Low key douche vibes” FTW!

      • Dani says:

He’s not douchey at all. I’ve met him three times at hannuka parties (his cousin is in the business with my husband) and he is hands down the nicest most genuine hollywood dude ever. I don’t know if he cheats but he’s definitely a sweetheart.

    • Jegede says:

      Yes he is.

And many posters correctly called him on this in many previous posts.
      One example:
      http://dev.celebitchy.com/492858/liev_schreiber_on_naomi_watts_i_decided_to_make_a_family_with_this_person/

I think if anything, it was Naomi who moved heaven and earth to make this work from the get go. Ben Affleck/Jennifer Garner redux.

      • Artemis says:

Naomi is a bit of a sad case. She is clearly the romantic type who falls for douchebags. She and Heath were crazy for each other but Heath being a boyish guy who fell in love with many of his co-stars, had no issues overlapping these relationships because ‘passion’, Naomi too fell under his spell and she lost him to Michelle eventually. One of the things that came out of the break-up was her need for a family (extra painful when Michelle ended up pregnant pretty much immediately!)

Liev just came at a time in her life when she felt her clock was ticking and was coming out of an intense relationship. Him being a bit of a ‘rough but teddybear’ kinda guy, must’ve seemed perfect. Opposite Heath, who was a cheerful boy who doesn’t know what he wants, Liev was the manly man who could protect her and be the father of her children. The way they met and exchanged numbers is telling.

And I wasn’t going to make a good impression. So I said, ‘I’m sorry, but I gotta go home.’”
He continues, “She chased me outside and said, ‘Don’t you want my digits?’”

Of course she chased him when he failed to take his chance! I too think that Naomi is the reason they worked this long. Liev is so casual in his cheating, I don’t think there’s been a year where he has not stepped out on her.

  5. paolanqar says:

    I cannot take no more.
The next horrible thing to shake me to the core would be that a Kardashian hooks up with either Brad Pitt, Joshua Jackson or Liev Schreiber.

    • Tulip says:

Oh, wow, I don’t even want to consider those possibilities…

Hang in there. This unbelievable year is almost over.

  6. SM says:

it was pretty obvious from their appearance in Venice. They did not show much affection for each other, Liev especially looked like he was standing to a complete stranger. Despite that – it is a pitty, they looks like a well adjusted, down to earth couple.

  7. Mushymoo says:

    A couple I actually cared about :(

  8. Turningvioletviolet says:

They’ve obviously decided to announce it now in the hope that it’ll get lost in the wake of the Brangelina stuff. Which I suppose it will if there’s anyone who particularly might have cared about them as a couple.

    • Green Girl says:

Agreed. Question for you all: Would your average follower of celebrity gossip (maybe they read a magazine or two, or follow just one gossip blog) even know or care they broke up, though?

      • tealily says:

They’d be more likely to get supermarket headlines if the Pitt/Jolie showdown wasn’t going down. I bet people who didn’t even know they were a couple would hear about the split. This way, that likely won’t happen.

  9. Betti says:

2016 you are turing into a hell of a year with all the political turmoil, celebrity deaths and divorces – what next?

Not really surprised given the rumours of his cheating which has allegedly been going on for years.

  10. SilverUnicorn says:

Expected (they have been on the rocks for ages) but… 2016 has been an awful year so far!
    Sad, they seemed well matched.

  11. Louise177 says:

I doubt there will be leaks and animosity since they seem so laidback. I also don’t think there’s much interest in them by the general public. It really helps they did it now. Nobody really cares now.

  12. Seraphina says:

Good timing since everyone is focused on Brad and AJ.

    I liked them together :(

  13. Shutterbug99 says:

This split was rumoured for a long time (I remember reading a story here -or maybe somewhere else – months ago). Like Turningvioletviolet, I reckon they announced now so that it’ll get buried under all the Brangelina debris.

I reckon these two will keep it amicable. Sounds like they tried to make it work and couldn’t – and they’ve been living apart for a while now.

  14. minxx says:

This is sad, I really liked them as a couple. I knew they were having problems but I follow Naomi’s IG and there was no indication whatsoever that they were about to split.
Hopefully they’ll handle it in a more mature way than Brangelina.

  15. AnotherJen says:

I thought this happened a while ago.

  16. Rocio says:

The JPs should have taken notes from these two: classy and not messy, burried in the middle of the presidential debate.

    • tracking says:

+1 if there’s any dirt here, they’ll keep it to themselves.

    • Gretchen says:

Sure, but there’s a difference between “dirt” and “verbally (and possibly physically) abusing your child on a long haul flight to such an extent that CPS is called”. I don’t think AJ can really be blamed for that, Brad got sh-t faced in front of his kids and there was some sort of altercation. With the sources TMZ has, there’s just no way they could have kept it quiet once the authorities were involved.

      • Meandyou says:

I am going to call bull on that. When on earth have you seen TMZ leak something that is being investigated by the FBI? This is not the LA County Clerk Office but the most prestigiou agency in the country. Please. Angelina most likely called DCFS (or someone on her payroll) and she also leaked it to the public.

      • Gretchen says:

Fair enough, but didn’t it go to LAPD first before it was tossed like a hot potato to DCFS and the FBI? I seriously doubt AJ called child services herself, and it seemed like her divorce leak was to preempt the info TMZ already had so she could set the narrative herself , which is understandable considering how sensitive the topic is.

  17. Lindsay says:

Slightly off topic: Is she still BFFs with Nicole Kidman? I liked their friendship. Hopefully Nicole will be there for her.

This will be quiet. Between Brad and Angie and the upcoming election the press will focus on other things. They seem to be able to have a quiet life in New York. They issued a joint statement, didn’t make vague alligations against each other, and won’t have to go through the courts for their split. It is sad but I hope it stays this drama free for their two adorable kids!

  18. Emily says:

I need some ice cream, too. Brad and Angelina shocked me, but this made me feel really sad. I’ve always thought Liev has a really interesting history/life, but I guess somehow I missed all the cheating stories. Lucky for them Brad and Angelina waited until Liev and Naomi’s movie was out – they can split up, tell everybody, and move on with as little attention as possible.

  19. shelly* says:

Who next Hemsworth and Pataky ?

I’m still reeling from the shock of Hiddles and Swift, I thought those two were for life.

But yeah, regarding Schrieber, He is a blind gossip stalwart.

    • Va Va Kaboom says:

I was actually expecting David and Victoria Beckham to take advantage of the Brangelina fervor and announce their divorce. It makes me sad because I like them, but they’ve been quietly liquidating and separating assets (from property to their DVB brand) for almost two years, and basically live as if already separated. Its only a matter of time.

  20. Bex says:

I feel like there’ve been rumours about them for years.

Their publicist played a blinder though- in the midst of the Brangelina ugliness and the Presidential debate, this’ll be forgotten by Thursday.

  21. Lucy says:

It’s nice that they kept it classy and civilized. Still, I, too, need a moment. Please make it STAHP.

  22. Mrs. Darcy says:

Despite the fact this is not a surprise, it’s still sad. I hope happier for her in the long run if the rumours are true, but I can see why it would be hard to quit Liev.

  23. msd says:

Their house appeared in Architectural Digest at the start of this year (Feb?) – that’s often a bad sign. Celebrities, the non- famewhore kind, only let people see inside their home when they’re planning to sell … and often they’re planning to sell because the living arrangements are changing.

    • Who ARE These People? says:

Funny, I had the same thought.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

My husband just made the same reflections now

    • Pat says:

I thought about that too but for a different reason: not because they plan to sell that house (I dont think so after all the work that they went through) but because it was stressful, expensive and so out of character for Liev to show off their wealth that way: he grew up poor and with a difficult childhood and the AD show off seemed more like Naomis idea, maybe to pull some strings to appear as a happy family, maybe that ended being a reason to fight too.

      • Another Nina says:

Except that he had not had a difficult childhood…He had to take a shower with cold water, other than that he lived in a hippy community, his mom was a yoga instructor, his grandpa was always there for him…his dad was rich and his siblings lived a much more comfortable life, so there must have been bitterness and jealousy but Ray Donovan he is not…And he always admitted to his relaxed unbringing in the beginning of his career…they changed the narative drastically for the promotion of Ray Donovan…I was fascinated by this PR in action, and I’m always surprised that people bought it…

      • Mrs. Darcy says:

I remember reading back in the 90′s when he was just coming up that he basically lived in artist’s squats and things in the Village in NYC with his Mom. Which wouldn’t have been ideal for a kid, in reality. Even if he wasn’t in technical poverty, living an alternative/outside the norm lifestlye would have been weird/stressful in its own way I imagine, But if he changed his story I don’t know what the real truth is.

      • Hudson Girl says:

Not sure if it’s the case here but, a lot of celebs do the magazine layout when they are about to put a property up for sale.

It’s not always a breakup thing, like in the case of Reese Witherspoon doing it in with her ranch-like house in California a few years ago. Random profile of her house and even her niece/nephew posing. Then her house is immediately up for sale. It’s free advertising and adds a little panache for potential buyers.

    • siri says:

SJP let people into their home in 2014…they are still together, perhaps since it was for Vogue, not AD ;-)

  24. Mew says:

Honestly, I was more surprised that they were still together. I thought they split years ago, like around 2011-2013 or so. Well, I was just a bit early.

  25. Incredulous says:

At last Naomi can be mine.

    MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

    • Sparkly says:

      Dibs on Liev! XD

He’s the total opposite of guys I’m usually attracted to, but something about him is just all sorts of yum.

  26. Diana B says:

Nooooooooooooooo!!!! I loved them!!!! Why does 2016 doesn’t let us have nice things!!! 😭😭😭😭

  27. serena says:

What is it with this year?? All my favourite couples are splitting up! Damn!

  28. M.A.F. says:

Love is dead. I’m done. 2016 you suck.

  29. Tallia says:

I guess she found that extra cell phone of his. Ugh,

  30. Hejhej says:

There are so many rumours about him, that it seems quite certain he’s a big of a douche but I still really liked these two together so this makes me very sad :(

All these divorces really does make you think of who’s next. Matt and Luciana? Tom and Rita? Kevin and Kyra? (NOOOOOOOOOOO!)

  31. trollontheloose says:

2016 is the year of THE END

  32. Jayna says:

I think they kept their preparations for separating and ultimate separation secret for a long time to give the children time to privately adjust and develop their new normal over time as a family for the children’s emotional well-being.

  33. Jade says:

12 years and 11 years…not that bad. I hope Naomi and Angelina will go on to better things soon.
    Touch wood for the below….

    High profile couples:
    Timberlake / Biel
    The Smiths
    Tom and Rita
    Kidman / Urban

    Mid profile couples:
    The Richies
    The Damons
    The Albas
    The Tatums

    • Chinoiserie says:

For actors (and I do not really care for about the rest) alone Reynolds and Lively are one of the highest profile couples right now and that feels strange. Then there is Aniston and Theroux and Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. There must be others but I can not think them right now…

      • Jane Q. Doe says:

My current favorites are Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. Together 14 years, married 6 (I think). My heart would be broken y’all.

Oh, and Hugh Jackman & his wife Deborra. Clark Gregg & Jennifer Grey. Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Brad Hall.
Maybe the key is to be as under the radar as possible?

    • Brittney B. says:

I just had a Mulholland Drive flashback and imagined Naomi and Angelina going onto better things indeed: each other.

(…sorry, my high school brain just took over for a second. Also, there are so few high-powered same-sex couples that I’m kind of hopeful about single Angelina.)

      • Trashaddict says:

Ha ha Brittney, great minds think alike! Why not???

      • Dee Kay says:

I have to say I would love it if AJ moved on with some smart, hot, age-appropriate woman. And double points if it were a celebrity. It would be an incredible sequel to Brangelina. I don’t think Naomi Watts is bi but she exactly fits the profile of the kind of woman who would make a great wife for AJ, especially because, even though Watts is somewhat famous and super-talented, she’d never outshine or try to control AJ, and I think that’s what AJ needs in a partner.

    • JeanGenie says:

I’d add Sacha and Isla to your “touch wood” list.

    • siri says:

Parker/Broderick, Hanks/Wilson, Ed Harris & Amy Madigan, Michael J.Fox & Tracy Pollan…there actually ARE a couple of celeb couples who handle the long run, but they sure are the minority.

  34. MickeyM says:

oh nooooooo. I was rooting for them.

  35. Pat says:

sad but apparently those Hollywood couple who manage to last all of them have some kind of agreement: cough….opencouple….cough…. The celebrity culture specially when it comes to men gives them a lot of options and little guilt, men, from A to D listers have p*ssy thrown at them just because they’re famous, and they don’t love strong enough to say no. It’s not the same for women, it happens too, but in a really lesser way.

In astrology 2016 is a year of dramatic change. The stagnant fog lifts and decisions can be made for personal improvement, health, and growth. I’ve been seeing it translate everywhere. If you’re into that sort of thing :)

For this year, I am desperate for any explanation as to why it’s been so awful. According to your information, is next year calmer at least?

      • jlee says:

2016 has been painful and messy! I’ve read that 2017 is all about insight. Finding the lesson in the pain kind of thing.

    • Andrea says:

2016 has been all about personal growth for me. I quit my job of 3 years in January and went back to school to get ESL certificates to teach English to immigrants. Now, after completing that, I am going through yoga teacher training until the end of the year. I also conquered my fear of flying this year as well (I hadn’t flown since 2003). I haven’t felt this accomplished in 5 or so years or as in tuned with my needs/wants. I have somehow found the confidence, courage, and motivation that I never had before to do the things I have always put off doing. There is something about this year.

Gosh – he looks like a giant next to her in the pics. Crazy size diff on their heads, and everything.

  38. Nicole says:

I have been hoping she would move on since January, I have been waiting for this break up, we could see it miles away.

  39. Stargazer says:

Libran men are WEAK. They have no strength on their own without a stable relationship. He’ll see. Once he detoxes his current marriage and life and integrates the lessons from his past, I’d like to see Brad with Naomi. They have excellent astrology.

    Who’s next?
Jamie Dornan from Fifty shades and his wife Amelia Warner.

    • Betti says:

He’s another alleged cheater – i believe thats why Keira Knightly dumped him and there has been stories of him cheating on his wife.

  41. Goneblank says:

I really liked them! I’m weirdly bummed about this. I know there’s been rumours about him for years, but I never really believed them. I think the one about him cheating in Australia was debunked as he was no longer in the country when the affair was supposed to have happened. A woman claimed she slept with him after a wrap party for a wolverine film I believe. Turns out he was never at the party but back home in New York. I dunno, I thought they seemed like a solid family. What a shame.

  42. JeanGenie says:

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen are one of my favourite Hollywood couples. Here’s hoping they make it!

  43. sequinedheart says:

When I read this yesterday, I sent it to my sister with the caption “is the world ending?!” I can’t take anymore heart ache this year! I feel like I’ve aged a decade in 10 months – and the election hasn’t even happened yet… I liked them as a couple, a friend met them and had afternoon tea (business meeting) at their home and said they were so casual and laid back, the kids were playing and she was cool as can be. Makes me sad – one hollywood couple who flew mostly under the radar as far as HW couples go….

  44. NGBoston says:

Love most of LS’s work and think he is sexy in a rugged but imperfect sort of way.

Ray Donovan was spellbinding last season, this season-not so much.

Anyway…it is what it is. The high divorce rate these days and so many couples throwing the towel in instead of to keep attempting to make a LTR and the covenant of marriage work out.

Just the way the cookie crumbles in today’s society…and it is kind of sad especially when there are children involved.

  45. Caz says:

The split I’d like to see is Kim & Kanye.

  46. Katherine says:

I never heard anything bad about them, so this one took me by surprise. Sad, they seemed so lovely together. But if he really is a known cheater, then it’s amazing she hung in there for so long. However, using this to say “all men cheat” is problematic for me. It’s like saying “all men are abusers,” just because most abusers are men. It’s a blanket statement, not “all” of a group of people do any one thing. Besides, I know of just as many women, if not more who cheat. They’re just smarter about how to keep it hidden than men are. Obviously, it’s a good thing Liev and Naomi didn’t get married. If you can’t trust your partner and wouldn’t be surprised if they cheated, then why the heck would you even get married in the first place? Just don’t. And, maybe that’s what Naomi did. If she knew Liev was a cheater, she was smart not to marry him.
