Blac Chyna & Rob Kardashian are expecting… a very Kardashian daughter

wenn24116828

I’ll admit, I had a little chuckle about this piece of news this morning. I laughed because I (unfortunately) understand the dynamics of the Kardashian family. Rob Kardashian has battled agoraphobia and depression for years, and many believe that as the last Kardashian man (sired from Robert Kardashian, that is), he’s faced pressure all of his life to live up to certain expectations and he finds himself overwhelmed. I’ve always thought that Rob really hates that he’s constantly surrounded and/or judged by the women in his family. He clearly wanted Blac Chyna to be pregnant with a son too. She’s not pregnant with a son. Rob and Chyna are having a girl. The next-generation Kardashian girl! Think about that – Kourtney’s daughter is a Disick, Kim’s daughter is a West. This really will be the new Kardashian girl.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna just revealed whether they’re having a baby boy or a baby girl. During tonight’s premiere of Rob & Chyna, the pregnant E! star and her man make a doctor’s appointment to find out the sex of their baby.

“I’m pretty nervous. I’m excited,” Rob says before the big reveal. “I really want a boy.”

Then the doctor announces, “You are having…a girl!”

“Rob, it’s a girl!” Chyna exclaims excitedly. “Oh, that’s crazy,” Rob adds. “You have a boy at home, right?” the doctor asks them, referring to Chyna and Tyga’s son King Cairo. “Yeah, but I don’t,” Rob says. “That’s OK, this is your first,” the doctor reassures Rob. “It’s an emotional moment. Me wanting to have a boy, it definitely stems from my dad but I’m sure I’ll have the same relationship that I had with my father with my daughter,” Rob says in a confessional. “I’m just happy that the baby’s healthy and I’m gonna be super happy with a girl.”

The doctor continues the ultrasound and adds of their baby girl, “Look it, she’s putting her little booty right up at ya.”

“She better not be doing that!” Rob jokes. LOL!

[From E! News]

I’m including the clip below – Rob actually doesn’t look too happy when the doctor says it’s a girl. Some men… it’s just their place in their world to be surrounded by women. All of those sisters, and now his first child is a girl. I don’t know… I’m hoping for the best for the sake of the baby, but something tells me that Blac Chyna is mostly going to be raising a Kardashian girl by herself.

I feel so sorry for that little fetus….

Her own fathers disappointment on TV, for money, for everyone to remind her about for the rest of her life (“hey remember when you were made for TV and to make your family more money and your dad was visibly disappointed when he found out you were a girl?”)

    • INeedANap says:

I feel like a lot of men are disappointed to have daughters and I always wonder how much of that carries over to how those girls are raised. Do they notice that dad doesn’t seem to love or care as much? Are those the women that grow up to hate feminists, hate women? Are those the women with self-esteem and “daddy issues”?

My father treated me and my brother the same and had the same ambitions for both of us. It meant the world to me and is a big reason for my success.

      • Chris says:

My parents had two girls and my dad definitely wanted a boy. He ended up with a son 12 years after I was born with his second wife and was just as crappy as a dad to my brother as he was to us so it truly made no difference for the longest time. Once my brother was 12 and started playing football my dad took notice of him and was and is still all about his football playing and little else.

It doesn’t make me hate feminists. I am a feminist. My sister as well. We also don’t have daddy issues and have never really struggled too much with his lack of care for us because we had other great men in our lives (our grandpa and uncle). It doesn’t feel great but at the end of the day he’s not a great person so not having a great relationship with him isn’t really much of a loss.

      • polonoscopy says:

I *just* read an article last week about this very thing. Apparently, statistically, men just love their sons more (statistically: my dad was great, I’m sure yours was too). And it’s not the same with women loving their daughters more, women tend to bond with their kids regardless of the sex. Anyway, in the words of a great feminist “never underestimate how much you are hated.” https://www.1843magazine.com/features/its-a-boy-thing

      • swak says:

I have three daughters and not sure how disappointed my ex was, but he didn’t bond like I did with them. Though that may have been because of the way he was brought up. My daughters are definitely feminists. Also, @polonoscopy, probably statistically men love their sons more, but for may family we were not the norm. I had three brothers and was treated the same way they were. Just my experience.

      • INeedANap says:

        @Chris
I am sorry for you and all your siblings. Have a bad parent is hard no matter what the gender dynamics are. I hope you have love and support from other sources.

Separately — my questions were more about exploring the after-effects of that kind of gendered preference, not an attack on people who grew up in that situation.

      • Starkiller says:

I was one of those girls–my father made clear his disappointment that I wasn’t a boy, as he did to my older sister. However, he later got two sons, and despite his initial enthusiasm, he ended up being only marginally more interested in them than he was in us. I think perhaps he was just uninterested in parenting in general. Can’t speak for anyone else from this situation, but I’m a staunch feminist and I certainly don’t hate women.

      • Bess says:

The truly ironic part of this is that daughters are more likely to care for their aging parents.

      • Jillybean says:

There are a lot of daddies out there who are slaves to their princess daughters too don’t forget…

    • Lux says:

while yeah, it sucks that his disappointment about the gender was caught on tv, i get it. I so badly wanted to have a girl that when we found out we were having a boy I cried super big tears. Fast forward 4 years, I have 2 boys and am madly in love with them. So happy with the outcome. I guess what i’m saying is that just because someone is initially disappointed doesn’t mean anything.

      • Matomedah says:

+1 lux. Gender disappointment is real and it shouldn’t be shamed- many women feel it. My husband was super happy with 2 girls. Not all men care. I, on the other hand, panicked and sobbed when this one was a boy. Big, public tears and everyone (family) knew. I was afraid of a boy, tbh. He’s here now and I’m obsessed with him and love him more than anything. I’m sure the same will happen to Rob. Look at how all these women in his family have treated him. He’s built his father up in his mind and he’s pretty lonely for close male support. I’m sure he’ll come around. Most parents do!

      • littlemissnaughty says:

I think that happens a lot. My dad really really wanted a boy but then after I was born and the second one was on the way he was all “This is awesome, girls are great. I want another girl.” He wouldn’t have seriously cared either way I think. And now, 30 years later, he’s happy as a clam with two daughers.

      • INeedANap says:

I don’t trust Rob to get over it though. Maybe I’m being unfair but this family has weird gender issues and Rob has deified his late father.

    • Chloeee says:

My dad definitely loves my brother more. Three girls, one boy. He would disagree but the disparity in treatment is too obvious. My brother is almost a decade younger and when my dad feels outnumbered by the girls, he aligns my brother with him, much to my brothers horror. It’s not easy when your brother comes up to you and apologizes for being treated differently than you. I’ve hard to learn to separate my worth from my fathers opinions. Thank god my mother is who she is or I would be damaged. She’s made me a strong woman. But it hurt, it’s confusing. It feels like my dad prioritized his desires and successes before mine, and expects me to fall in line.

      • me says:

Yeah I grew up in a home where my brother was treated like a King. He was spoiled and had total freedom. I’m the middle child so already had it hard lol…add that my brother was born a year after me…I was simply forgotten about lol. It hurts a lot…even as an adult now, especially when it was so obvious how preferred he was by both parents.

    • holly says:

Not all men are unhappy to have daughters. My stepson has two, loves them unconditionally. Not “trying” for a son. They are happy as they are as a family & have a great dynamic.

  2. thaisajs says:

How great they caught that sweet moment on camera. I’m sure their daughter will be touched to watch it years from now.

    Ugh.

    • Wiffie says:

in a way I can’t get mad at him. Glad cameras weren’t there for my sonogram. I didn’t mean to, but I burst into tears after finding out it was a girl because I was scared of raising one. It’s a strange emotional moment, and a second of disappointment is normal, and it won’t last the child’s whole life. Most get over that when they hold their baby for the first time. My husband laughed when we found out about our second girl because she was our last, and he, too, is the type of man that was just destined to be surrounded by women his entire life. And the last man to carry on the name. But we love that we have two little sisters that will have other for life and neither of us would trade these little ladies for a boy, and Rob won’t either. Give him time.

Maybe seeing a little girl of his own creation will spark a new love and purpose, and the leftover resentment from his own family won’t carry over.

    • Amanda DG says:

Let’s hope this family will not be famous by the time this kid is old enough to care…

  3. anonymous says:

    Her body looks sooo….manufactured

  4. QQ says:

Honestly, The production Values, Their Foolishness Chyna’s Makeup amounts are things that will make this show Iconic Petty Gold Standard!!, We might hate the Kardashians, we do NOT hate the Kardashians like They hate the Kardashians to have seen this through all the way to pregnancy!

( also these two are VERY ill prepared to make this work unless they get to counseling, if for no other reason that they have really different familial/argument style dynamics but I’ll give em 2 years)

    • littlemissnaughty says:

Two years? Really? You’re quite the optimist. ;-) I hope they make it, they seem like decent if crazy people.

      • QQ says:

i feel that same vibe LOL I indeed am being super Optimistic for them (aside though Chyna hits me as a very Involved mom, I feels as though relationship aside she’ll still will be very happy doting on her kids)

  5. grabbyhands says:

Aaaaaannd I already feel sorry for that kid.

Millions of dollars, but you’ll still never be worth more than the amount of publicity the family can wring out of you and if you’re not obviously genetically blessed right from the start, it’s plastic surgeons and chemical procedures in your future.

  6. Zapp Brannigan says:

So the baby is not even born yet and it is already out to work. Great, excellent, I can’t see how any of this will blow up in their faces and go wrong.

    • Kimma says:

I was thinking the same thing…this baby isn’t even born and it is already out there for the world to see..and already being judged..and labeled a “kardashian girl”…poor little thing. Ugh..not fair.

  7. Tiffany27 says:

This is the same dude who deletes his Instagram every other day when he’s mad. And her baby daddy is possibly going to be her daughter’s uncle.
    I’m just……. I’m so concerned.

    • Pansy says:

OMG yes! I need a chart to understand those poor kids’ family relationships if everyone gets married!

      • Colette says:

It gets even more complicated if Tyga and Kylie have a baby. How is the baby related to Rob and Chyna’s daughter? Cousin/step sibling?

      • swak says:

@Colette, believe they would by half – siblings because they have the same father. Could be wrong.

      • swak says:

Was wrong, King Cairo would be half sibling to any child Chyna or Tyga have and Rob and Chyna’s daughter would be cousins with Tyga and Kylie’s child (if they have one). It is SOOOOO confusing.

  8. Liza says:

That breaks my heart, actually…just be glad your partner is having a healthy pregnancy and feel blessed to have a child at all. The whole “I’m a man and need a son” deal seems very Henry VIII to me…get over it. Your sperm decides, dude…grow up.

  9. minx says:

    Poor little girl.

  10. teacakes says:

ugh. I hope he does some serious attitude revision between now and the baby’s birth, no kid deserves to be born to parents that see them as lesser because of their gender.

  11. Patricia says:

That baby girl deserves to come into the world in privacy and with dignity. Sad all around. And I’m sad for Rob, too. How old was he when all this started? It hasn’t done anything for him, all the fame. It’s been a burden on him and warped his whole life and personality.

Also Ms Angela Kardashian there looks so much better without all the makeup. She just looks freaky done up like this and you can’t see her real beauty at all.

  12. me says:

Yeah he did not look happy at all. I hate men who act like having a son is the most important thing in the world. I really hope they name her Kim Kardashian…that would be hilarious !

  13. Maleficent says:

It’s ok to have initial disappointment in the sex of the baby. I really wanted a boy my second time (I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant with my second daughter). My disappointment lasted about 20 minutes. Now im super excited. Unfortunately, his sadness was caught on camera. If you caught mine 6 months ago, I’d look like a horrid, ungrateful person too….
Congratulations to them both. I hope they protect this child from the crazy….

    • Patricia says:

Yes I agree with you on this.
When I was pregnant with my son I had every woman in my life telling me they felt it was a girl, dreamt it was a girl, etc. So when, at 20 weeks, I found out it was a boy my heart dropped. I just had my pregnant mind set on this little girl, and was envisioning her. I felt sad for a few minutes and then shook it off and looked at my baby boy with so much love and excitement. He’s two now and he’s my everything. But for sure I had a strange emotional reaction to hearing his gender.

This is why Rob shouldn’t be on reality Tv. Normal, sensitive people don’t want the emotional and complex moments of life filmed and pimped out.

  14. chaine says:

so much wrong here, i can’t even begin… but let’s start with the doctor and the dad making a joke about a FETUS twerking. Let’s sexualize someone who hasn’t even made it out of the womb yet, who probably isn’t even a viable human life form on its own yet. WHY??? sick sick sick.

    • Patricia says:

Yeah I agree, I really hate that. I hate when people call my toddler son a “stud”, even if they only mean he’s handsome or something.
I hate the whole “he’s gonna be a heartbreaker” or “dad get ready to fight the boys off” being said about babies and little kids. Gross. Leave them in their innocence please.

  15. phonetics says:

Lol “Think about that – Kourtney’s daughter is a Disick, Kim’s daughter is a West. This really will be the new Kardashian girl.” How patriarchal of you. Those little girls are definitely Kardashians.

    • FingerBinger says:

North and Penelope don’t have the Kardashian name. Kourtney’s sons and Kim’s son in a sense aren’t Kardashians. How is it patriarchal to point it out?

      • PrincessMe says:

I think what phonetics is trying to say is that even though they have their dad’s last name, their dad’s heritage is not the only important one. They’re still part Kardashian and part West/Disick. Even though my children have their dad’s last name, they’re still a part of me. It’s not the name that pass on values, but the people. At least that’s how I took it.

  16. the_blonde_one says:

I can understand his concern about having a female child being brought into that family. Look at the rest of them.

  17. Kate #2 says:

Did anyone watch the show? Chyna is psycho. This sh*t show is going to be awesome tv lol

    • me says:

Yeah but remember Kris Jenner is the executive producer isn’t she? She’s going to make Chyna look much worse than Rob. I am sure Rob had some psycho moments that were left on the cutting room floor.

      • Kate #2 says:

True. But Chyna agreed to the filming, she even joked what a momma’s boy Rob is several times. She must want that game real bad. KJ is over her image now.

  18. moon says:

It’s an on the cuff reaction, she’s not going to get scarred for life let’s hold off the dramatics. My Dad wanted a son and he got me instead, and he was initially disappointed but he’s turned out to be the best father who goes the mile for his daughters. And it’s normal to want a son, given all the crappy female influence he’s had in his life and not having a male figure to father him.

    • Your Mother says:

I agree as a white woman raising a black /biracial daughter who is sweet innocent and kind I wonder why all the back lash or should I call it black lash against women who resemble Black Chyna ??? Why all the nasty images? Why are there no images of good light skinned black girls like there once was? I am tired of this for my daughter and have started a support group of white moms raising light skinned biracial daughters we are going to come up with ideas of what to do to combat this we are tired. Voting republican does seem to be one answer for now. When i found out that the Kardashians support Hillary Clinton I too changed my voter registration to Republican. I had been a democrat for 30 years I just think Trump will make things better now. So sorry to have to do this.

      • Bess says:

The Karadashians supporting Hillary Clinton caused you to change your voter registration to Republican?!?!? You’ve given them way too much power.

      • Well they are so representatives of all the democrats I know. I mean they all like hip hop they all have fallen in their class level lately. A lot of them even the white ones just party all the time and drink and drug. They are all going through divorces etc . There is a lot of dysfunction with those who say they are democrats. There is a lot of immoral behavior. I do think a brothel sprung up in my neighborhood recently and I live in an upper middle class neighborhood in New Jersey but now I am moving with my little daughter too Mississippi where I just got a job so I have had to go to the extreme to protect my little girl. It is like protecting a hunted animal.

  19. Audrey says:

My husband is a man surrounded by women and he loves it. We all drive him crazy but he’s happy. Rob will hopefully grow to love having a daughter. He might be mostly scared of everything his sisters have done to be famous but he can protect his daughter from that lifestyle.

  20. whatthewhat says:

oh hell gender disappointment from parents happens all the time, and it can be an initial reaction and I don’t find it damning. i will determine that on the years to come.

    • Ludicris says:

I agree that the demise of the lighter skinned black woman is due to the political climate. I am old enough to remember when this happened in the 1990s. Lighter skinned black girls were trashed in their image back then too. I have three biracial best friends they don’t even know each other. they all have changed their voter registration to republican . Each one quotes the image of blacks as one of the reason that they don’t feel good about the democratic party. This is interesting and may have some factual info to it. If you look at the 3 out of the 4 ratio and my friends represent a microcosm of the country then biracial black women will probably swing the vote for trump. Too bad the hillary campaign never got out good press about all the light skinned black women she has been affiliated with over the years. It might have helped.

      • Oyusterace says:

Right it is true that she is some sort of hoax.

      • Gary says:

When you look at all the underground sex videos of Black Chyna it definitely looks as if something is up. Why do we hear about women like this. Why don’t we hear about Halle Berry, or Zoe Kravitz or Jennifer Beale or the girl on the view ? Because they are positive images. It is very strange it is a conspiracy.

      • Overdose says:

Please help me understand what all this is about. Is this a matter of female exploitation or what if so everyone should be investigated for all the drugs they are into. That will solve everything. Its all about the drug underground. That is all not about race or sex.

  21. Amanda DG says:

I worry for that little girl… a family full of plastic women who only care about being sexy and famous…

  22. NL says:

You know what would be really cool? If they raised a smart, capable young woman. And it’s totally possible. He might just end up being an awesome dad. Just saying.

    • Karrycan says:

As a person who knows a white woman raising a biracial child I just want to say that this woman is not light skinned. She clearly bleaches the face on her skin. She is a darker sort of Carmel color and then used really bad face makeup to try to appear lighter. She is sick. But there is a back lash against black women. I do think this woman is being used as a clown in order to demean beautiful quiet sweet girls like the light skinned girls I know. I suggest that mother’s of biracial girls here in the bay area get together and get some sort of letters and information together about all of this. Some of them have contacts with local media outlets we will see if we cannot raise awareness about the fact that there is a sexual obsession in this country with sexually demeaning lighter skinned black girls. They are under attack for some vile, sick reason. We have to find out why and we have to stop it.

      • Northwest says:

Is it true that Kanye married kim because the demonic Kardasian crew offered to pay all the legal bills he had from suing the medical practice that killed his mother with plastic surgery? I heard that he had planned to have kim pay off the bills then leave her but the drugs and sex they offer was too good to leave. He does look drugged out lately. Does anyone out there no if this is true?

      • jeanpierre says:

It’s true Kanye was bought yes. But I think his fascination for KK is genuine.

  23. Jwoolman says:

A friend was hoping for a boy, but that was because he only had a brother and was afraid he wouldn’t know how to be a father to a girl. He knew what to do with a boy because he had the example of how his father dealt with him and his brother. Both his kids were boys, so it was a moot point. But he would have adjusted. I told him not to worry, he could do the same things with a girl. Just share what he knew and liked. We’re not really an alien species.

Many years ago, I read something that claimed a disproportionate number of female engineers and scientists were the only child or the oldest girl in a family whose first boy came much later. The speculation was that in the absence of a son, some men will pass on their knowledge to the oldest girl. I saw this in a friend’s family. She became a chemist. Her dad showed her how to do all the routine maintenance on the car, for instance. My mother wouldn’t let me touch the car. OK, I had a habit of taking things apart and not knowing how to put them together again. But still… My brother was totally uninterested in such things but mom kept hoping. She was embarrassed by my techie inclinations and hoped they would go away if she ignored them.

  24. Vbbs says:

Why is her face so sickly white kinda gross
