Megan Fox welcomes her third son Journey River with Brian Austin Green

First thing: these were literally the most recent photos we had of Megan Fox! I didn’t choose these pics for any particular reason other than they were taken last week. That being said, I have noticed a trend: famous moms who are all “sure, whatever” when their sons want to dress up like princesses/Elsa from Frozen. Adele’s son and Charlize Theron’s son both love Frozen to an amazing degree, and my guess is that Megan Fox’s son Noah is the same.

Anyway, Megan Fox gave birth to her third child just days after these photos were taken. And guess what? It’s a boy! Megan and Brian Austin Green now have three boys together. Their first born is Noah Shannon (in these photos) and the middle child is Bodhi Ransom. The new baby is named… Journey River. Megan Fox is really leaning into the hippie-mom naming-process, right? I don’t mind the name River for a boy or girl, and it’s honestly one of my favorites of all of the hippie baby-names. But Journey? Are they going to call him Jo/Joe? Jour? Ney-Ney?

Megan gave birth on August 4th, making little Journey River a Leo. Noah is a Libra and Bodhi is an Aquarius. For those keeping score at home! I can’t believe she got another boy. Oh, and Brian Austin Green has an older son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, who is 14 years old. So many boys! Reportedly, Megan and Brian are back together for now, which I think was the whole point of this pregnancy, just my opinion: I believe BAG manipulated and schemed to get Megan pregnant so they could get back together. So… congrats to Megan and BAG for welcoming a healthy baby boy! Mazel tov and Godspeed.

‘I believe BAG manipulated and schemed to get Megan pregnant so they could get back together.’

how though? i don’t care for BAG so it’s not like i’m stanning for him, but it takes two people to make a child, so the responsibility of contraception should fall on both of them. also if they were still having sex, they weren’t all that split up either.

    • Goats on the Roof says:

We criticize people who accuse women of getting pregnant to entrap a man, and rightly so. I am not at all comfortable accusing BAG of the same with no proof other than he’s not likable. Megan chose to have sex with him, unprotected by the looks of it, and she is equally responsible for her pregnancy.

    • Anna says:

I kind of doubt that he “trapped her”. To me it just seemed like they split up but still cared for each other and still wanted to sleep together so they did and she ended up getting pregnant by accident. when she first announced her pregnancy weren’t they still going through with their separation? That points to no one “trapping” anyone and that they just ended up rekindling their relationship as they spent more time together again

    • Amanduh says:

Didn’t care for that statement either…

    • Betti says:

While I don’t care for that statement BAG is known for his controlling and manipulative behaviour with his partners. None of his ex still have anything good to say about him and all said the same thing, he’s manipulative, controlling and all about the money. He has no career of his own anymore and Megan is the breadwinner/star in that relationship so of course he’s going to em sure he sticks around. Plus I can see her wanting to make a go of it as she seems to b a family oriented person.

  2. Jegede says:

    Congratulations to the couple.

I’m more inclined to believe this pregnancy was them gunning for a girl rather than entrapment or anything sinister.

Brian already has 3 sons – two with Megan and one with Vanessa. And Megan said in an interview on The View, a while back, how much they – especially him – wanted a girl to balance their fam.

    • Esmom says:

I guess I get that, but only to a certain degree. I’ll admit I really don’t understand people wishing for a certain gender. Isn’t a healthy baby enough?

      • Jegede says:

Yeah in ALL situations a healthy baby is absolutely enough.

But I also don’t see anything odd with families who want to have the experience of both genders.
I know many people who pray they are lucky for a mix.

And celebs footballers like Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard have openly expressed how they would love a girl/boy respectively after 3 boys and 3 girls respectively. Same with Kobe Bryant, Gwen Stefani e.t.c

        I think it’s a normal wish.

      • Froggy says:

Can’t agree more Esmom. I have 3 of the same gender and altho it would be nice to have a girl, I never forget how blessed I am for my 3 healthy kids.

      • fruitloops says:

I’m sure they are happy and thankful for a healthy baby, but nothing wrong with wishing to have children of both genders in a family.

  3. Snowpea says:

I have a real soft spot for Megan Fox and she has such cute pregnancies.

I too have three boys but each time I’ve been this bloated, puffed up, sweating mess of a human with giant feet and ankles and enormous leaky boobs…so how Foxy stays so compact and tidy is an absolute mystery.

  4. Margo S. says:

Her boys are so beautiful. He’s a fab elsa! Lol can’t believe they got another boy. So we’re probably hoping for a girl. Kinda weird though the whole divorce being called off. We’re they just boning as they were separated? Why separate then? So many questions!

  5. Maum says:

    • Amanduh says:

…the piano part starts playing when you hear that name, right?! Like that kids’ getting “oh, you’re just a small town (boy)…” comments for life.

      • Maum says:

:) I just can’t with those ridiculous celeb names.

Is he going to be nicknamed Destination as a teenager?

      • thaliasghost says:

It does, it does. Though people have short time memory, it will be people like you and me who silently chuckle while the majority won’t get that reference anymore.

I know of a couple who named their children Peter, Paul & Mary, yes, like the band. Of course, individually you don’t get that reference. But you won’t believe the amount of times I have told that story including the “like the band” part…and just looked into clueless faces.

    • Esmom says:

I don’t really get it either. Unless it has some sort of special significance to them, it really sounds like they flipped open to a dictionary and pointed blindly to an entry.

    • jeanpierre says:

One of Jenna Jameson’s kid is also named Journey.
As a non-english speaker I think it’s supposed to mean that the kid played a huge part in their journey together with the whole separation mess at the time. Maybe I’m totally wrong.
I’m not shocked at the name, it seems like in American culture object names easily become people names, and it’s still better than Ransom. Seriously, Ransom is way off.

  6. Ji-Yun says:

Top pic she looks like Rumer Willis. Did a double take when I saw it.

    Perhaps they’ll nickname him J.R.?

  7. thaliasghost says:

I LOVE that part about him dressing up as Elsa so much. I really hope weirdly that there is some kind of influence on public perception of this via tabloid magazines.

Let me tell you one thing, the US are actually far more progressive in these aspects than other countries and if just a bit of that attitude spills over to, say, mainstream Polish society via tabloid magazines at the check-out counter – awesome.

  8. Naya says:

I love that pic. Megan is clearly a great mum. Now she needs to ditch that controlling man who made it clear during the separation that he is all about the $$$. I dont think its possible to “trap” another with a baby but lets agree that he was thrilled to be getting a third “bargaining chip”.

  9. Lucky Charm says:

I completely forgot she was even pregnant. Congratulations on the new baby. Certainly not something I would name my own child, but then again both my grandsons have names that I don’t necessarily think are awesome, either, lol!

  10. Amanda DG says:

I’m happy for them and I hope they continue to work on their relationship. There’s obviously a lot of love and history there.

  11. DesertReal says:

    I concur.
I think that BAG did use this pregnancy as a means to keep a foot in the door, & get her acclimated to the idea of them staying together.
My ex husband used to manipulate my birth control (hide it, throw it away, & when I switched to the nuvaring, he’d take off his condom during the week off) & whenever I’d call him out on it- his excuse was that a baby would make us closer/really make us a family. I’ve always felt bad for her because something about their relationship just gives me those same vibes.
The subtlety manipulative, snide way of comparing you to others (maybe one of the many reasons why someone as young as her has had so much plastic surgery), emotionally draining, wet blanket douche canoe vibes.
