Here are some photos of your boyfriend James McAvoy in London today. He was leaving the KIIS FM radio station and he looked a little bit pissed off. Possibly because he and Daniel Radcliffe are promoting Victor Frankenstein, which looks… um, kind of bad. So bad that I truly wonder why McAvoy even signed on for the film. Anyway, James looks good (if a bit pissy) in these photos. I prefer him with longer hair, honestly. He has great hair and I love him especially when he’s rocking his gingery beard.
I mentioned McAvoy yesterday in the post about the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Hamlet got majorly snubbed, but McAvoy’s turn in The Ruling Class was not snubbed at all. In fact, most people believe The Ruling Class was the best London play of the year and that McAvoy is due #AllTheAwards.
Meanwhile, McAvoy has signed on to three new projects in the past month. He’s going to team with M. Night Shyamalan on a horror/thriller film called Split. Little is known about the plot, but it will be a 2017 release. McAvoy will also be filming The Coldest City with Charlize Theron, which is based on a graphic novel by the same name. The story is about “a spy (Theron) investigating the death of an undercover MI6 officer in Germany just before the fall of the Berlin Wall.” That begins filming this month. I’m guessing (??) that McAvoy will play the MI6 officer? That should be interesting. And finally, McAvoy has just signed on to Wim Wenders’ Submergence – go here to read about that plot.
