Kirstie Alley: ‘I was probably the least of Lisa Niemi’s problems with Patrick Swayze’

Kirstie Alley is delusional. She recently called John Travolta “the love of her life” and insisted that he’s not gay, despite the fact that she was married to someone else at the time she supposedly fell for Travolta, and never actually dated or slept with him, by her own admission. She also claimed, in an interview with ET, that Patrick Swayze was “in love” with her in 1987 when they were working together, again when she was married and he was married to someone else, also despite the fact that nothing physical ever happened between them. In fact, Patrick turned Kristie down. In her brainwashed mind, that’s not evidence that he didn’t want anything to do with her, they still had this great non-physical love affair. ET has released another segment from Kirstie’s interview, (a clip is above) in which she goes into more detail about her non-affair with Patrick. Kristie admitted that Swayze rejected her, but went on to strongly insinuate that Patrick was still fooling around behind his then-wife Lisa Niemi’s back. Oh no she didn’t!

“It was just too much of an attraction.

“I will say that at that time Patrick was drinking a lot, Patrick’s been very public about that.”

In Kirstie’s new book, The Art of Men, the 61-year-old actress claims that after a night of dirty dancing and partying, she finally made her move on Patrick, but was ceremoniously rejected.

“I want to make love with you. I just don’t care anymore, let’s just do it,” she remembers telling her hunky co-star in the heat of the moment.

Ever the gentleman, Patrick denied her proposition.

“No. Come on, you’re drunk,” he said. “Kirstie, you don’t really want to do it. You’re not that kind of girl.”

While the star would later speak at Patrick’s funeral in 2009, Kirstie reveals she still isn’t sure his wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi, ever caught wind of their on-set attraction.

“I have no idea if Lisa knows anything about Patrick and I… I was probably the least of Lisa’s problems with Patrick.”

[From ET Online]

So she still thinks there was enough going on that Patrick’s wife should have known about it, and that there was a “Patrick and I.” She admits that Patrick was wasted at the time she propositioned him, and that he still turned her down cold, but somehow she thinks she was hiding something from Patrick’s wife. What is going on with this woman? You don’t smear a beloved dead guy’s memory like that. Maybe if Patrick wasn’t such a nice guy, she would have received the message through her thick skull that he didn’t want anything to do with her. It’s been 27 years for Xenu’s sake and she still doesn’t get it!

    I can’t w/this whack job. She’s just a delusional, whacked out scientolobot…& that’s all. Oh, & throw in a heaping helping of NARCISSISM, & that’s Kirstie.

    • Vesper Lynd says:

I wonder if what she’s been saying about the late Swayze is as true as her size 2 projections?

  2. Jenny says:

Even if this true, what is the point in talking about it now? His widow is still grieving. She doesn’t need to doubt her dead husbands love for her

    • Naye in VA says:

Me thinks Kirstie is “the least of her problems” lol. Nutjob.

    • CTgirl says:

Kirstie Alley is a beast. Huge, hairy, gluttonous and disgusting. Release the Kracken!

    • Angel says:

Exactly Jenny! She’s spewing crap about a dead person, obviously he’s not around to deny this delusional story. And going on about how much he drank and partied. Again, that was his story to tell, not hers. I believe he was pretty open about fighting his addiction but it doesn’t change the fact that this cow needs to shut her trap. His widow surely doesn’t need to hear this junk.

She’s such a desperate fraud. She will say anything to stay relevant and get sound bites from ET. Just another way to peddle her Snake Oil/Organic Liason diet scam.

  3. Abby says:

This is gross Kirstie. Really low class to be dragging a dead man reputation through the mud for her own delusions. I feel bad for his wife.

    • Micki says:

She actually polished his reputation because even drunk he refused her. SHE was not a problem at all for Lisa Niemi.

    • fabgrrl says:

Far from dragging his name through the mud, her statements are making me love and respect Patrick Swayze more. Even if he was “in love” with, or attracted to her, he didn’t act on it! You can’t control your feelings but you do control your actions. Everyone knows Swayze had an alcohol problem at the time. Yet even while drinking he turned down Kirstie Alley, who was smokin’ hot at that time. He sounds like a prince.

      • Mari says:

Couldn’t agree more! We don’t know the whole story but we do know he never acted upon it. Still love him!

      • Cazzee says:

Yes, at that time Kirstie Alley was still a real beauty (it’s shocking how much she’s let herself go)…I would say that Patrick Swayze comes off quite well in this story.

      • MW says:

Yeah, that’s more like it. He respected his wife, and from what he supposedly said, Kirstie’s husband, cuz she was married, too.

  4. lucy2 says:

Isn’t Patrick’s wife supposed to be her friend? What a horrible way to treat her. Kirstie should be ashamed of herself.
I don’t believe her for a second, but even if it were true, discussing it in the media is so gross.

    • gg says:

I agree – this is a horrible thing to try to do to Lisa. Especially if nothing even happened. What a bitch.

  5. Bluedog says:

It should be, “…if Lisa knew anything about Patrick and ME” not “Patrick and I.”

Ugh! Why is everyone’s grammar so bad lately? Do people not know you just remove the other person from the sentence (in this case Patrick)? So would you say, “if Lisa knew anything about I”? No, you wouldn’t. That shows you to use “me”.

    • Erinn says:

I was always taught it would be “you and I” not “you and me”. But I did google what you said, and you’re right :) Learned something new today, haha.

      • justalark says:

Aha! This is one area where I am actually an expert! I am an English prof, and here is an explanation of when to use which kind of pronoun:

I, he, she, we, they — These are SUBJECT pronouns. They are used as subjects in a sentence. Ex: I went to the store…or…Tom and he were watching the game..or…We are all friends.

Me, him, her, us, them — These are OBJECT pronouns. They are used as objects in a sentence. Words like “about,” “to, and “for,” and “between” are prepositions. When you use a pronoun as the object of a preposition, you have to use an object pronoun. Ex: The argument was about Bob and her…or…The red wine was for us, not for him…or…Between you and me, I really hated her tacky shoes!

      • Cazzee says:

Very helpful, lark – thank you!

      • MW says:

Justalark – The thing I saw that has always stuck in my mind was when someone corrected someone else on here, and a third person piped up “well we used to say that, but now we just say ‘for all intensive purposes’”. (Instead of “for all intents and purposes”). I was shocked. As if people not only don’t have the grammar right, they can just randomly say something that doesn’t even make sense, and that’s OK?

    • Esmom says:

As an English major and grammar geek, I’m with you. I had a boss (highly paid, decently educated) who would always say “Me and X are going to lunch,” (or something similar) and it would send my blood pressure skyrocketing every time.

      • gg says:

HERE HERE! People remember being corrected with: My friend and I are going to the store.

Except it only works in that particular structure, and changes when the sentence changes.

I really love it (not) when ignoramuses correct people who make a big deal of correcting it to “I” when somebody says it right.

    • rofosho says:

@Bluedog. THANK YOU! Whenever I tell people about that convenient little grammar trick they DO NOT believe me.

      • KellyinSeattle says:

Grammar geek here with y’all ;) I mean, all of you. Like, totally. That one drives me crazy, too. I saw Miley Cyrus on Ellen yesterday, and Miley said, “like” so many times, I had to turn it. My dad used to say about Kirstie when “Cheers” aired: “There’s something really cold about her”.

      • wild flower says:

It also drives me nuts when I see “your” and “you’re” messed up. And “their”, “there” and “they’re”. Also “to” and “too”.

      • Cazzee says:

wild flower, I am totally with you on those ones. Since you would know the difference between those constructions if you read a lot, someone who makes those mistakes is not an avid reader. Harsh but true.

    • Syko says:

I’m also driven crazy by “here, here”. It’s “hear, hear”.

      • j.eyre says:

Oh my stars – I am guilty of this. Thank you for pointing it out.

See, gossip can be so enlightening.

      • lrm says:

Yes, but the latest and perhaps the worst infraction, is a freakin’ ‘comma’ before every S!!!! ‘who’s’ when it should be whose, random words that end in S…I don’t know-Car’s…when it’s NOT possessive.
I mean, it’s grown adults; something seriously happened in this last generation of schooling, where the basics are not taught anymore-or not remembered.

yes, that ‘x and me’ and then being corrected for it-is hilarious [not] and ppl still don’t believe you when you tell them.

    • k says:

Cosign; the pronoun is “me” when the object, “I” when the subject.

    • Flim says:

@ Gg: as long as we’re being picky, it’s “hear, hear,” not “here, here.” As in, “hey, everybody! Hear what she’s saying!”

    • Flim says:

@ Gg: as long as we’re being picky, it’s “hear, hear,” not “here, here.” As in, “hey, everybody! Hear what she’s saying!” !

    • Flim says:

To Gg: as long as we’re being picky, it’s “hear, hear,” not “here, here.” As in, “hey, everybody! Hear what she’s saying!”

    • Flim says:

To Gg: as long as we’re being picky, it’s “hear, hear,” not “here, here.” As in, “hey, everybody! Hear what she’s saying!” !

  6. Faye says:

No wonder Swayze had alcohol problems at the time! Being ardently pursued by Kirstie Alley is enough to drive anyone to drink.

  7. Winnie says:

Does she really think this kind of crap is going to make people buy her book/like her more? Just horrible.

  8. Justyna says:

Couldn’t she just shut up and go away? She must be a really good actress because she has such a likeable, warm on-screen persona while being such an awful human being in real life. I spent my childhood watching and loving her movies, now i can’t stand her, she have ruined those good memories. I don’t think I will be able to watch her now without having her craziness in mind. I don’t care if what she’s saying is true. Patrick is dead and it doesn’t matter. It’s just so terrible of her to bring it up right now to promote herself without realizing (or maybe she does realize but doesn’t care) how much it may upset and hurt his wife.

  9. Eleonor says:

Someone should tell her to shut up.

  10. Suze says:

    Seriously, STFU, Ms. Size Six.

  11. Ellie66 says:

Damn she is nuts! I used to like Kirstie but she done jumped into the crazy pool! Leave Patrick alone! But feel free to bullshit about Travolta..;)

  12. NeNe says:

WTF is up with her??? She needs to STFU, and stop disgracing Patrick’s name. I think she is so FOS!!

  13. Birdie says:

Delusional, disgusting woman. Go away! You are an has-been. They didn’t want you, so stfu and let him rest in peace. His poor widow…

  14. LisaMarie says:

Sounds like a one sided attraction to me. Delusional much, Kirstie?

  15. Toot says:

What is the point of this story if Patrick didn’t actually sleep with her? I know she put the Patrick part in there to sell books, but what she’s saying isn’t worth anything.

    Selfish heffa.

  16. Lizzie K says:

Are Scientologists delusional BEFORE Co$, or do they become that way AFTER Co$? Hmm…. chicken and the egg question!

  17. andy says:

What a passive-aggressive witch. Someone is still angry at being turned down.

  18. Cel says:

Alcohol lowers your inhibitions, so if Patrick was wasted when he turned her down that shows just how much he DIDN’T want to be with her!

She is a nasty delusional bitch who needs to shut her mouth.

  19. dorothy says:

What a total sleeze this woman is. To disgrace a dead man’s image with her delusional ramblings. It’s official, all Scientologists are just nuts. Go away you heifer has-been.

  20. Lexi says:

Isn’t her ex-Hardy Boy ex-husband gay? Clearly her ‘dar don’t work! LOL

  21. Jayna says:

She sounds like a fool. Everyone is laughing at her. He probably thought he harmlessly flirted with her and she took it for love. The guy turns her down when she comes on to him to bang and he says, come on, you’re not that kind of girl, like she was just being a slut. Not that he was like I can’t live without you but I am holding myself back. I don’t know. She is officially pathetic the more she digs herself into this story in interviews. Added with the love of her life nonsense is kind of sad. No relationship with Travolta, nada, except onset attraction, and she’s 60 but he was the love of her life.

Very tacky and disrespectful to Lisa, though. And I saw a comment in a TV clip where she was like she could have been with Travolta and been married and live happily ever after, or something like that, like Kelly isn’t the love of John’s life. John is gay or bi, but I do believe Kelly is the only woman he has really loved long term. Kelly is gorgeous. Kirsty has been a sloppy mess for many years and loud. So why she is delusional enough to think their marriage (she thinks he would have married her, lol) would have been soulmates is hysterical. Maybe they could have been soulmates in chowing down on food together.

    • Relli says:

hahahaha “soulmates in chowing down on food together.”

Could you imagine? They would have had matching custom made scooters to get them to an fro as well as matching track suits. Instead of being sexually frustrated with each other they could have just ate their feelings!

  22. Kimlee says:

Why won’t this woman stop talking already, I mean I get it she selling a book but enough enough.

  23. Jackie Jormp Jomp (formerly Zelda) says:

The correct grammar is “Patrick and me“, Kirstie.

Also, everything else you said was flat out stupid.

    Quit words.

  24. Chrissie Malcolm says:

This delusional, sad hag is just desperate for publicity. Patrick Swayze’s widow may have been entirely unaware of Krusty Kirstie’s “chemistry” with her husband … well done for bringing it up all these years later, Krusty. What a warm human being you are … not.

  25. Nanea says:

Kirstie is another piece of evidence that the $cientos always pick the best and the brightest…

  26. Sam says:

Honestly, she sounds like she has a personality disorder. I’ve met people who will take a passing Hello as saying you want to be their friend. She sounds like one of those people. Lisa shouldn’t take any of this seriously – its the ravings of a woman who probably has her own issues and needs to work them out.

  27. Nan209 says:

I’m trying to figure out why Kirstie is relevant…oh, because she says crazy stuff that the media willingly circulates. She is just like a child, negative attention is better than no attention…and just like a parent I’m going to not give her anymore attention. She’s written off in my book.

  28. ladybert62 says:

If the wife is classy, she will ignore stupid and not classy Ms. Allen.

If the wife is like me, she will verbally slap this witch (who is suppose to be her friend!) around the room.

    • Izzy says:

Well, obviously I’m more like you, because I would bitchslap that stupid piece of trash into next week. Verbally, of course. Unless she had the temerity to say those things to my face – then, all bets are off.

      • ladybert62 says:

Hi Izzy – I am with you and I was trying to figure out how to say what you successfully said at the end of your post!! ha ha

  29. Lizzie K says:

If girlfriend gonna spill on all the guys who turned her down, she’s gonna need a bigger book ….

  30. Jen34 says:

All I take from this interview is that Patrick was a gentleman who didn’t cheat on his wife, and Kirstie is delusional and without morals.

She has no right to bring up his name.

  31. Rhiannon says:

All of this makes “sense” if Kirstie has a dong under this dress. ” Kirstie, your not that kind of girl” “John is straight” ” I’m a size 4 bitch”

    Utterly delusional.

  32. Ella says:

I actually found it weird years ago when she was on Oprah and said “I LOVE John Travolta” and Oprah said “yes, I love John Travolta too” and Kirstie said “no, but I really LOVE John Travolta.” It wasn’t a huge deal, but I found it weird. I would never say that, publicly and in that way, about a married guy my age whose wife I was friends with.

  33. Carol says:

So this story is less “Patrick and I fell in love and had an affair” and more “I threw myself at my friend’s husband and was rejected.” Hope Lisa loses her number. With “friends” like these . . .

  34. Sugar says:

I totally feel for Lisa. But I wonder how my fav Hardy boy feels? she says yeah I wanted to sleep with this guy and oh this other guy was the love of my life…but I was married @ the time (both times).

  35. Suzy from Ontario says:

Maybe she has to tell herself all these things because doesn’t Xenu tell its followers that they can have whatever they want? That they have control of the universe or something ridiculous like that? So if she was attracted to Patrick and he didn’t want her then she had to find a way to reconcile that…voila! He totally wanted her but wouldn’t act on it because he was a gentleman and was married and knew she “wasn’t that kind of girl”. Yeah, okay, whatever. (eye roll).

Is it just me or are all these famous Scientologists really looking pathetic lately with all the stupid stuff they are saying/doing? John Travolta and all the gay stuff that everyone knows is true and yet he denies it, Kelly Preston who not only denies it and stays with him (and looks pathetic for doing it in the face of all the evidence and pics that have been coming out) and they both think a few public kisses will convince us.

Kirstie, who also is trying to tell us JT is not gay, as well as all these other delusional things about him being the “love of her life” and Patrick Swayze, and her amazing diet program that obviously didn’t work at all.

And of course Tom Cruise and all the stuff coming out about his wife auditions, him not going to visit his daughter even though he’s off clubbing constantly, etc.

Do these people realize how ridiculous they all look? Kirstie especially has really become a huge mess and she just continues to make it worse with stuff like this book.

  36. judyjudy says:

I’ve never heard of a man to be so lustful of a woman that he would turn her down if she begged him to sleep with her.

  37. Grace says:

Wow Kirstie. Just go ahead and stab Lisa right in the heart why don’t you?

  38. Bread and Circuses says:

Those comments don’t read to me as Kirstie implying Patrick was involved with other women.

They read as Kirstie implying that Patrick’s drinking was out of hand, and that was what Lisa was probably was most worried about.

Not that I am impressed with Kirstie’s delusional claims lately, but I think you’re mis-interpreting what she said here.

    • Jayna says:

      Exactly. I agree with you.

    • fabgrrl says:

I think you are right. Good call.

So Kirstie is letting everyone know that she actively tried to seduce a man who had a serious, behavior-inhibiting, addiction AND a tense, difficult situation with his wife. Nice, real nice.

  39. Cindy says:

Remember when it used to be embarrassing to admit you threw yourself at a married man?

  40. megsie says:

Such a selfish, classless thing to say. I hope Lisa is having a good laugh over this.

  41. Darth says:

Sad, lost woman. And this book reeks of desperation.

  42. crazymary says:

As much as she disgusts me. I am almost more disgusted by ET and the way they are almost giddy to show these clips.

They are all like wow, she’s so wild and funny. Oh wow, she looks so great. Umm, what? Just really sickening to me.

If they take away the platform for these kinds interviews we would live is much kinder place. Just my 2 cents…

  43. Anon says:

Why would she want to dredge this up after all this time and make Swayze’s wife feel bad? Pretty thouhtless.

  44. Memphis says:

I deeply dislike this delusional woman.

  45. CC says:

Patrick’s drinking and smoking problems are well known, but they had nothing to do with wife troubles. The mere fact that a drunk guy rejects a woman propositioning him, says enough. He didn’t want her either drunk, much less sober.

Yet this woman is implying that the drink was due to anything other than his own personal demons, ugh.

  46. Molls says:

She’s so desperate for attention she tries to smear a dam man’s name. That is really sad. How low can a person get? Must be the Scientology crap messing with her brain.

  47. Molls says:

*dam man’s name* I meant DEAD man’s name.

  48. Onyx XV says:

Wow, she’s 16 shades of crazy, isn’t she??

  49. Green is Good says:

When’s Kirstie’s CO$ poster coming out? And shouldn’t John Travolta pose with her? Looking all heterosexual and NOT insane?

Who does this woman think she’s fooling? And what’s up with dragging Patrick Swayze into this mess?

Somebody has to go”Roadhouse” on her ever expanding butt.

  50. skuddles says:

Well it’s official, Alley wins the “delusional, insensitive dumb bitch of the year” award. Congrats!!

  51. Issa says:

What a bi**ch move. Patrick turned her down, isn’t that code for I’m not farking you? She’s delusional.

    • Tanzy Girl says:

Even over LeAnn Rimes?? Damn, didn’t think that was possible!!! I thought she had that title in the bag?…. LOL!!

As for Alien Alley… most people know how batsh-t crazy she is. For those that don’t, after hearing this nonsense, they will. Maybe that loud mouth friend of hers, Lisa Marie Presley, will step in and tell her to keep that trap of hers shut? Oh, wait. What am I saying. That loud mouth, wannabe “bad ass” will most likely be the first person to defend her once the shit really hits the fan. Birds of a feather and all….. @ @

  52. Vesper says:

I do remember an interview with Patrick, and his wife did leave him at one point over his drinking. That doesn’t mean he cheated, but maybe that just happened to be around the time he formed an emotional connection with Kristie.

Nonetheless, I have seen Patrick talk at length about how amazing his wife is. His comments really stood out for me. To this day, I have never heard a man express his love and devotion to his partner with as much intensity as Patrick did. It was very beautiful to watch.

    • EllenOlenska says:

They definitely struggled with his drinking but I dont think they were separated during North and South. One interesting thing to note is that during the 2 years of filming, a main character in the first section was replaced by Kirstie Alley’s then husband, Parker Stevenson. Maybe they brought him in to babysit?

  53. tru tru says:

that religion gets them all dingy as hell, she is disrespectful as heck!

as I said yesterday, of course she’d choose someone that could not defend himself.

    this probably never even happened..

I don’t beleive this, like I don’t beleive that John is NOT gay.

    go away bag lady

  54. tru tru says:

she did not have the balls to claim she bumped uglies with John, LOL

  55. anita says:

What a bitch. Lisa is a classy broad. Kirstie is a ditch pig.

  56. e.non says:

god, i can’t believe how ugly she’s gotten; when she was so pretty during the cheers days.

    her clawlike hands scare me…

  57. whateveryouwantittobe says:

Sounds like tragic fan fiction, this just makes her look like a nasty person.

On a separate note, I still can’t believe Patrick is dead. Dirty Dancing is a childhood fav of mine and every time I watch it now I get the sads when I realize he’s not on this earth anymore. It just doesn’t seem right :/

  58. Rena says:

She sounds like she in into rewriting her history and that of others. Oh Kristie enough is enough, OK.

  59. jk says:

I read an interview he gave or someone eles gave about him and he had some real hangupps anout sex. He had to have the lights off lol He wasn’t really interested in it . SUch a weird interview and wish I could remember where is was..damn.. That is why he probably turned her down she wwas HOT in her day.

  60. ZenB!tch says:

Oh thank goodness, I was worried she was claiming to be the same size as Lisa Neimi.

I really don’t get this chick and yes I am calling a woman old enough to be my mother “a chick”.

She’s lost a ton of weight, she went from like a 22 to a 14. She may not be a 6 but that is something to be proud of. In addition, she has managed to get some sort of career back. She should be happy. Instead she tries to tarnish the memory of someone that people have fond memories of?

  61. Str8Shooter says:

Looking quite EQUESTRIAN in that first pic especially. I feel like I should offer her an apple instead of that bacon cheeseburger she’s scarfing down in that last pic.

  62. Meanchick says:

So K.A. is going all Janice Dickinson on us now? Big, loud mouth an spweing crap evetrytime it opens? It’s desperation and it’s the only way people like them can TRY to stay relevant.

  63. palermo says:

It’s time to fade into obscurity, I would be ASHAMED to write a book like this one

  64. J.Mo says:

I think she’s been trying to help the scientology cause & is making it look worse than Tom ever did. She looks ridiculous and self-important and delusional.

  65. HappyPossum says:

    She’s crazy as a Judd.

  66. Mandy says:

I’ve always kind of liked Kirstie and thought she was funny. But NOT anymore. You just DON’T talk about someone like that who is deceased! And what about his poor wife! It’s just not right.

  67. Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

It would be interesting if Liam Neeson and Lisa Niemi would date.

  68. Tuxedo Cat says:

What a loud-mouthed narcissist!! She doesn’t care who she hurts, as long as she gets some attention.

  69. Kosmos says:

Oh, geez….if there EVER was a story with Swayze, now is not the time to bring it out. How insensitive to his wife. Will Kirstie please shut up for good? I’m so sick of her, and her DWTS shows, and her weight issues, I could GAG…who cares, Kirstie? If you’re not in a blog or on TV, you’re not relevant, right? Please stop tossing yourself in our faces…and one other thing, you are NOT, no way near a size 6 or size 8, not in these pics !!

  70. Francesca says:

I hate that name KIR-STI. She’s clearly a blown out mess. Who cares? …those guys are all dead, or has beens
