Janet, Randy, Rebbie & Jermaine banned from Jackson home after altercation

As you know, Tito’s son TJ Jackson, 34, was appointed temporary guardian of Michael’s three children after their grandmother Katherine disappeared for a week while under the care of some of her adult children. Katherine eventually returned, and she reportedly plans to file paperwork, in cooperation with TJ, for shared custody. (Along with presumably some of the massive cash that comes from Michael Jackson’s estate to provide for his children. A reported $86k a month.)

During Katherine’s “vacation,” there was an altercation between Janet, Randy and Micheal’s kids when Janet and Randy came to pick up the kids and bring them to Arizona to be with Katherine. The kids refused to go, their security team backed them up, and the whole incident showed just how far some members of the Jackson family were willing to go to control Micheal’s money. Well now Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine – the whole faction of Jacksons who are questioning the validity of Michael’s will and want to overthrow the estate’s executors – have been banned from the property, at TJ’s request. Here’s more, thanks to ETOnline:

Attorneys for the estate of Michael Jackson have confirmed to ET that Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson are currently prohibited from entering the Calabasas home shared by Paris, Prince, Blanket and Katherine Jackson.

Charles Shultz, an attorney for TJ Jackson, Jr. (who is temporarily sharing guardianship of Michael Jackson’s children with Katherine) helped to compile the list of persons no longer allowed on the Jackson family property in Calabasas– namely Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson.

In a statement to ET, attorneys for Michael Jackson’s estate write:

“Following the events of July 23 in which certain members of the Jackson family showed up unannounced at the Calabasas residence of Michael Jackson’s mother and children, causing a very public disturbance, the attorneys for the Estate of Michael Jackson as lessees of the house were requested by Charles Schultz, attorney for TJ Jackson, Jr., the newly appointed Temporary Guardian for Michael Jackson’s children, to send a list to the security gate of people neither TJ or the children wanted allowed on the premises in view of the incidents that had just taken place. The list may be amended and managed by TJ Jackson Jr. or the Estate when appropriate. It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother.”

This comes just weeks after a relative reported Katherine Jackson missing, which heightened the ongoing dispute over the validity of Michael Jackson’s will — which leaves everything in the pop star’s lucrative estate to Katherine and his children. Five of Michael’s siblings recently claimed that Michael’s will was fake and they have demanded that the executors of his estate should resign.

The estate denies the allegations, which first emerged shortly after Michael Jackson died in June 2009 from an overdose of a powerful anesthetic.

[From ETOnline]

This is far from over. This isn’t just TMZ reporting that some Jacksons are barred from the home, as per an insider source, this is an official statement from the estate sending a clear message: back off.

Did you hear what Gladys Knight said about the incident in which Paris Jackson refused to let aunt Janet take away her cell phone? She said “I would think it’s a good thing [Janet] lets Paris know who she is. If [Paris] called me that, she would have no teeth. That’s how we were brought up. You respect your elders.” So she’s advocating hitting a 14 year-old girl in response to the girl swearing? I hope Gladys is basing her opinion on press reports and isn’t a close friend of Janet’s or anything. That’s despicable.

Meanwhile, Katherine is said to be “furious” with Randy for orchestrating the challenge of the will and trying to overthrow the executors. Randy is said to be the ringleader, and to have convinced Janet to join him along with Rebbie and Jermaine. (It’s allegedly not about money for Janet, but I doubt it.) Katherine didn’t realize what Randy and company were up to while she was holed up in Arizona, and is very upset that they tried to do it without her knowledge. She also is said to have told Randy to make sure this drama stays out of the press. Good luck with that. It’s not Paris’ fault for tweeting at all, someone else is putting this out there.

Oh and the judge presiding over the guardianship case for the Jackson children has called for an investigation into their care. It’s uncertain whether TJ and Katherine will be allowed to share custody, although they plan to request it.

Janet and Randy are shown outside court last fall. Janet is shown alone on 5-24-12. Credit: PCNPhotos, FameFlynet and WENN.com

Good for them. Let the trash stay where it belongs – on the curb.
As for Gladys, she needs to STFU. Paris was well within her rights to say anything she wanted to the family members who were, essentially, trying to kidnap them and take them across state lines. And, for what it’s worth, the kids seem more mature than their elders in this case.

    • Meg says:

AMEN! I can’t imagine how freaked out those kids must’ve been, knowing something shady was going on, without an adult to help.

      • mel2 says:

Sad and pathetic that money led to this kind of behavior. This family is so dysfunctional. I have no respect for anyone trying to bribe, kidnap and/or physically harm innocent children.

      • Kimbob says:

@olcranky….I’m w/you. I never bought that crap from DAY ONE, when Katherine finally came out of hiding & tried to play dumb…..no f#$%ing way….no way!

That resort even reported that Katherine had access to a phone ANYTIME she wanted it out there…& I believe them. After all, it is a resort, not a concentration camp.

It’s TOTAL & COMPLETE BS what Katherine Jackson is trying to shove down the public’s throat. She’s trying to keep her money-hungry kids happy, trying to keep her pocketbook WELL-LINED w/$. Oh hell yeah she’s furious NOW that she may not be their guardian anymore.

I think the woman needs to step down. I honestly think she’s doing it just for the money. I mean, yeah, I think she has SOME affection for Michael’s kids, but let’s get real….TJ was the one really caring for them while that bat just sat back & watched the cash roll in each month.

    • T.C. says:

      +2
The adults in this situation need the slap not the 14 year old fighting off being kidnapped after you have already kidnapped her guardian. This plan to remove Katherine from the kids leaving both parties vulnerable to brain washing is devilish. Michael stayed away from his family for a reason.

      • hello says:

Yeah..this is really an odd situation. Nothing good will come of this. I wonder what happen to Janet? She has her own money and loved Michael. And, seemed to love the kids. I wonder what is up??

      • olcranky says:

        ITA

FWIW – I don’t think this was done without Katherine’s knowledge, I think she’s playing dumb because she would be hurt by the plan not working and needed to stay “in” with the kids who don’t want to believe she’d worry & hurt them like that

      • mayamae says:

        olcranky –

I somewhat agree with you. Either Katherine had some complicity or she’s too feeble and elderly to be responsible for children. A mentally alert woman would have seen all kinds of problems with leaving the children without telling them and having no contact while she’s gone.

    • Tracy says:

Gladys idea of how to raise a child is knocking their teeth out?
Gladys needs to take a midnight train back to Georgia.

    • Kellye says:

I agree, Gladys is always opening her mouth at the wrong time, saying the wrong thing. That’s why she and Aretha Franklin, got into it because of a remark she made about Aretha’s mother that was not true. And I do agree that the brothers need to get off their asses and get jobs. They are very talented in their own right. Michael cut them off because he was tired of supporting them. Janet should really be ashamed of herself….They say people act of fool when you die. No Joke. RIP MJ

  2. normades says:

What is going on with Janet’s boob in that first picture?

Good for the Jackson kids. Boo on Gladys. I guess kids should just let people kidnap them, huh?

  3. Eve says:

It’s all about money. It’s ONLY about money.

I’m actually suspicious of Tito’s son’s intentions. But he seems like the lesser of two evils so far.

    • normades says:

I get what you mean. Tito seems pretty sketchy as it looks like he backed out of the plan when he knew his son would get custody of the kids. But commentator Leeloo posted this interesting bit about TJ:

      http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20102218,00.html

He seems pretty educated and grounded (despite having dated Kim K!).

In the end I think those kids are smart enough to know who to trust (their dad warned them) and they are also old enough to decide who they want to live with. If they didn’t want to go with Janet and crew I think they had their reasons.

      • Eve says:

In the end I think those kids are smart enough to know who to trust (their dad warned them) and they are also old enough to decide who they want to live with. If they didn’t want to go with Janet and crew I think they had their reasons.

I really hope you’re right. Because it feels more and more that they’re on their own.

  4. Sue says:

Wow that first picture is all kinds of nasty!!

  5. Holl says:

Gladys Knight’s comments disgusted me. First off, this incident was denied by Paris and therefore was a rumor. Second, You don’t threaten to knock a teen’s teeth out in modern times especially when this whole issue boils down to a money grab so that two of the brothers can pay their child support and the rest of them can steal money from their niece and nephews.

Its not being southern, its being cruel and emotionally abusive. Janet was seen in the video video taping the whole showdown which in fact was an attempt to kidnap the kids to Arizona if you really think about it which obviously would frighten Paris and to grab Paris’s only communication to the outside world? Heck no Janet. Not your place. Paris was right if she even said that…its their house, not the Jackson family house.

    • Lee says:

      This, this and THIS!

    • Samigirl says:

Well said, sister. I’m from the South (Louisiana) and my parents (nor aunts, uncles, grandparents, family friends, etc.) have never threatened to knock my teeth out. We don’t call that discipline, we call that abuse.

    • Jordan says:

Well said! Gladys is obviously from the Joe Jackson school of parenting, which is disgusting but a lot of people their age feel it’s their right to slap a child’s teeth out just because.

  6. Hipocricy says:

    Bad foundation, nasty boob job

  7. Cam S says:

I don’t understand this at all. Makes no sense why the guardian would leave the children alone in the first place to go on vacation? This family is odd

    • normades says:

Because she was lied to and kidnapped by her own children and then prevented from communicating with the kids. So messed up.

  8. Ainsley says:

I think it’s for the best that certain people are banned from the house. Katherine can still see whoever she wants to see elsewhere. The estate has to put the kids first because they don’t have anyone else looking out for them.

I still believe Janet got involved in this because her siblings want her to be the new golden goose now that Michael is gone and she doesn’t want to take on that role. Who would? It’s time for these 50-60 yr. old siblings to support themselves and their own children. Janet should quit wasting her time with this nonsense and do something about those deformed fake tata’s of hers.

As for Gladys Knight and other adults attacking the kids, I agree that kids should respect their elders but the elders in this family have a way of acting like spoiled, entitled brat children. If I were a child surrounded by adults trying to scheme their way into my inheritance, I wouldn’t respect them.

    • Cat says:

      Absolutely.

And please note that respect for Elders (puh lease) should be earned by them, not taken.

I am glad this girl decided to stand up for herself and her brothers; they were in danger and she fought.

It’s what I hope my daughter would do…

      • StephanieMarie2685 says:

        Agreed!!

Your statement is actually shockingly close to a MJ lyric from Privacy (one of my fav songs! lol)

“now there’s a lesson to learn,
        respect’s not given, it’s earned!”

Looks like the Jackson sibs shoulds taken a listen to his songs before marching over there..

    • Ycnan says:

I don’t teach my children to respect their elders. I teach them to respect everyone regardless of age.

    • Kate says:

You can’t respect people who don’t behave at all respectably.

Gladys Knight’s basically saying respect your elders, come what may. Does that apply to paedophiles, for example? Just obvious stupidity. Longevity does not equal decency. In this case, they look like financial predators.

Micheal Jackson appears to have done a better job as a father than anyone could ever have expected. His kids know what real affection and concern look like – and what it doesn’t.

  9. the original bellaluna says:

Good, good, and GOOD. If any of my family attempted the same, being barred from my home would be the least of their worries and the safest thing (for them!) they could hope for.

It IS about money; it’s ALWAYS been about money; money is ALL it will EVER be about with this family!

Gladys, kindly STFU. Respecting elders does NOT include elders who try to kidnap you, especially after they’ve Nana-napped your legal guardian.

    • Ainsley says:

      Nana-napped–ha ha ha!

    • Eileen says:

Totally! For anyone who wishes they would win the lottery, take note! This is the sh!t you would have to deal with from family. EVERYONE wants a piece of the pie!
I was raised with money and then poor as hell when my parents divorced and I’ve seen both sides of the coin. If you’re not happy poor, you won’t be happy rich!

  10. Sillyone says:

I wish Gladys would smack Paris (I really don’t) but if she would I think Paris has enough spunk that Paris would knock that old bats dentures out.

By the way shut Gladys you bitch! I am all for team Jackson Kids.

  11. Poppy says:

The sheer and utter greed, and the lengths that people will go to is just staggering.

  12. Jaded says:

Off topic a bit, none of Michael’s kids look like they have a drop of Jackson blood in them. I think they came from an unholy alliance between Debbie Rowe and Arnie Klein.

    • Dawn says:

Well yes to the fact that none of them have “Jackson” blood but other than that we don’t know who the biological parents are. And that is the way Michael wanted it. The bottom line is these kids grew up listening to whatever Michael felt and thought about his family members and they know who to trust and not to trust.

    • Shoes says:

Why does that matter? He was still their father, legally and emotionally. They’re still Jacksons and they still have to deal with this messed up family, at least until the oldest turns 18.

    • Cherry says:

I still think Blanket (the youngest) looks an awful lot like him.

    • jwoolman says:

Only a DNA test would confirm or refute your suspicion. Genes mix in mysterious ways for kids with parents from very different gene pools. The older ones have genes half from a blue eyed blonde, the other half legally from a man with obvious mixtures of African and European in his genetics. Look at Michael’s father, how light skinned he is. Look at their cousin and now guardian, TJ. It’s quite possible Michael gave them his own genes. Regardless, he was certainly a good father to them. It’s easy to donate sperm, a man becomes a father after that.

  13. serena says:

    What has Gladys Knight smoked?
Respect comes before deceiving and stealing your dead-brother and orphan nephews money?

    Good lord, people wake up.

Big clap to TJ but I’d prefer the kids to be out of that damned family, with Diana Ross -just saying-.

  14. Cathy says:

Gladys needs to back off and STFU. This is none of her business. As for Janet, put your sagging tatas away, we don’t care to see them.

  15. Eileen says:

First of all I need to know WTF is going on up in Janet’s top?? Is her boob folding in on iteself??
Second-I agree with you guys that these kids seem to have better heads on their shoulders than their aunts and uncles. Please let TJ turn out to be a stellar guardian for them and not be out for himseld either! What a bunch of vultures!!

  16. void says:

I am repulsed by how many commenters on other blogs are calling the children “brats” for speaking out, and Gladys is reflecting that same sentiment. I do not agree that kids should always just shut up and “mind their elders”…if your elders aren’t making any damned sense and aren’t making clear their intentions, you don’t have to mind sh*t, not if you have any sense. Those kids have sense. Michael raised them well from what I can see. I think he raised them to be intelligent and wise beyond their years. The Jackson siblings aren’t gonna have an easy time messing with those kids. They’ve already been outwitted by them. Now all their foolishness has been exposed for the public to see, which is the best leverage Michael’s kids have in this situation, especially with Janet involved. Gladys, not everything about the “good ole days” in the South is worth perpetuation, I’d think you’d be aware of that?

    • pwal says:

It’s really annoying, especially when people try to make it racial. I’m Black and was raised in the ‘southern way’, despite living in Michigan and I can tell you that the ‘southern way’ makes you want to flee to the North.

Plus, the only ‘business’ that Paris put out there was that her grandmother was missing. Yes, the kids knew she was gone, but they were told she was going to Alburquelque for the brothers’ concert – the banned bunch intercepted Grandma and refused to tell them where she was. Anyone who wouldn’t raise serious hell if their legal guardian is out of contact due to others’ intervention is either a liar or an @$$hole trying to get over.

Too many Investigation Discovery shows begin with relatives sitting on their @$$ and not reporting a loved one missing. Paris did the right thing, with a major assist from MJr. putting this particular ‘business’ out there, not because Katherine was in danger (although…), but because shaming is the only thing that seems to work on the aunts and uncles. And they should be ashamed- they’re not entitled to Michael’s money.

      • void says:

Exactly. My first thought when I heard of the “kidnapping” story was that this is how a lot of in-family homicides start out. The behavior really is alarming.

And I am really sad and disgusted by how so many people are making this a racial issue. I see comments to the effect of: “Michael was ashamed to be black, so he got white kids, and now they are acting just like their color…that money should go to his BLACK family not those spoiled European devils” [seriously, I just combined 3 comments into 1, people are really saying this crap]…THOSE KIDS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR EXISTENCE, THEIR RACE, OR THEIR FATHER’S SUPPOSED SELF-HATRED. And that money belonged to MICHAEL, not this or that race, Michael could do as he damned well pleased with his estate, and he did. If not your kids, who do you leave the bulk of your estate to in your will as a parent? It’s disgraceful the way people are harping on the idea that the kids are adopted and somehow less entitled to their father’s estate than biological kids would be. What century is this?

    • Shannon says:

I HATE the way children are viewed by some people in this country. We’re the only developed country that has not signed the U.N. Declaration on the Rights of Children. It’s so sad.

  17. Vivian says:

All those blaming the kids have zero understanding of child rights; these kids did nothing wrong. Respecting elders is fine but what about respecting the children and their rights. All these recent developments are good; so very sad that Janet and Gladys have to go and get involved – totally taints them in such a negative way– totally lost me as a fan.

    • Jordan says:

It is the mentality that “children should be seen and not heard” and “mind their elders at all costs” that allows abuse to happen inside so many homes and the children are afraid to speak out. I’m on the children’s side on this one.

  18. Hautie says:

Well since Gladys knows all about being broke as hell… she is feeling the pain for the broke Jackson’s. :)

And seriously it is looking like to me… that Michael Jackson spent a little quality time, making sure his kids knew exactly what was what.

They most likely have known this whole time that practically everyone in their immediately family… WANTS THAT CASH!

And those people have no issue with stealing from orphan children.

  19. Shoes says:

According to TMZ, under the proposed shared guardianship, Katherine would still control all the cash, so hopefully that’s a good sign that TJ isn’t has money-grubbing as the rest of them.

    • jwoolman says:

Michael had a good relationship with Tito’s children, who were raised by their mother away from Jackson drama. He was really there for them when their mother was murdered over money, when TJ was just 17 years old. My guess is that Michael trusted them and let his kids know that. TJ is married with young kids and has been acting parental to Michael’s kids, and he doesn’t seem very interested in the cash.

Even though Katherine’s children include some wolves, at her age she needs to stay neutral. Bringing in TJ to keep the wolves at bay and Michael’s kids safe is a good idea. Those kids were really rattled by recent events. They are probably most afraid of being separated, and the youngest apparently is especially close to grandma. When the family wolves burst in and tried to get them to leave “by private jet” after asking them to get their passports and after firing regular staff- good grief, what was their dippy plan after all? I would wonder if they wanted to send all three kids off to boarding school in different countries …. TJ was quite right to ban them even though it will be inconvenient for grandma.

  20. Hubbahun says:

She really needs to ease up on the Touche-Eclat!

  21. G says:

Not only were Gladys’s comments shocking. The host on the show just sat there nodding? Are you kidding me?

As for the “Southern Way” I am a white Canadian and I certainly don’t think she speaks for the South or any particular group. She’s just a bully.

  22. oxa says:

I saw interviews etc on either Jane Velez or Dr Drew last night. They said it was attorneys for The MJ Estate sent the letter banning the vultures from the property and was done to protect the kids. Apparently this was prompted video showing a violent physical altercation inside the foyer of the kid’s home that we did not get to see.

Some guy who for years worked for MJ said that Janet got on board with the Grifters to protect her own wallet cuz she saw how they drained MJ’s coffers.

Also a grandaughter of Katherine said that she is too old to care for the kids and TJ is the best one for the job cuz he loves the kids & they trust him.

As for Gladys Knight’s remarks, someone should tell her that respect is earned and in 2012 assault is still a crime.

  23. Aubra says:

If Gladys knows something we don’t…other than that, shutup woman!

  24. sasha says:

    Her eyes are wonky.

    But they match her tits.

  25. libby says:

I was appauled by what Gladys Knight said. Paris was being violated in every sense and yet she’s supposed to surrender just because it was an elder doing the violating? what absolute nonesense. I lost any respect for her after that. It was only a matter of time before the Jackson clan would be overcome by greed since they have never been able to relate to Michael’s non-biological white children anyway. I’m most shocked at Janet who so tenderly consoled Paris at her father’s funeral. shame on all of them. Michael did not want them getting any of his money and that was his right.

  26. juju says:

Gladys Knight should shut the hell up, you aint slapping nobody !!!! You just sound ignorant !!!

  27. Sarah says:

I get so angry when adults like Gladys Knight use the “I deserve respect because I’m older” argument when justifying hitting children. I wish someone tell people who are fine with advocating hitting a kid if they are “disrespectful” that wanting respect is the reason every abuser uses to hurt children.

I am still haunted by the stories of friends and family I know beaten by their parents with belts, fists etc etc and hearing that the excuse their parents always gave was that their children needed to “learn respect”.

  28. katetabor says:

How many school shootings for Gladys generation? Teen pregnancies? Theater shootings? Welfare cases? Juvenile delinquents ? Yeah, Gladys might be on to something.

    • Cindy says:

Statistically, there were a lot more teen pregnancies in Gladys’s day. There’s a difference between discipline and barging into the home of a child and barking orders/grabbing cell phones when you are not even the parent or guardian of that child.

      • pwal says:

Statistically, there were a lot more teen pregnancies in Gladys’s day.

Apparently, Gladys herself added to that number.

    • G says:

I see. Punching out Paris’s teeth was going to prevent teen pregnancies and school shootings?

      • katetabor says:

Discipline, and child training, do indeed prevent delinquency, and deviance.

Literally knocking her teeth out? No. But a slap on a fresh mouth? Absolutely.

      • Kate says:

There’s a lot of research that says corporal punishment creates more aggressive, violent and uncooperative adults. It also makes people raised that way less likely to do well at school and more likely to abuse their own kids, drugs and get divorced and go to jail. Oh, and join gangs. Plus suffer from depression and (in girls) get knocked up young. Though, in fairness, those statistics can be muddied when you factor in the socio-economic aspects, because lower-income and less-educated families are considerably more likely to hit their kids.

Personally, I think a parent who smacks is either too damn lazy or too damn stupid to discipline a kid properly. A smack takes no thought and no real effort. Getting a kid to behave well through negotiation, reason and firmness takes a huge amount of energy. But I’d rather my kids behaved well because they can see it’s the right thing to do than because they’re scared I’ll smack them. Because the former will affect their life choices when I’m not there with my palm at the ready.

  29. palermo says:

I never understand why people thought Janet was the “normal” one in the family. She butchered her face, she is always either starving or stuffing herself, she hid her marriage(s) and her alleged kid(s). She talks in that stupid little baby voice, all quiet and sloooooow. When it came down to the money the real Janet showed herself.

    • Jackie O says:

exactly. maybe she should focus her energy on her pill addiction and daughter she gave away to her sister.

  30. reinvent says:

I honestly think Katherine maybe having some dementia issues.. some memory loss.. I think Jermaine, Randy and the other non-working moochers were probably nickel and diming her everytime she received her check from the estate.. The attorneys probably were going to step in and thats when the moochers tried to beat them to the punch with the kidnapping and the letter. When I watched the interview with her reading that letter and Janet standing there guiding her through it, I thought hmmm Katherine isnt at 100%.. she looked confused. And when they said the press couldnt ask questions.. not even preapproved ones.. I thought they dont want her getting confused and telling all the crap thats really going on.

    • reinvent says:

And just to add.. I know someone close to Janet and the slapping did happen.. she gave one and got it right back..

  31. katetabor says:

Gladys generation raised better children. They were more respectful, productive, and creative. Hard working. No Colombines for them.

But for todays hands off parent, collecting welfare is enough effort.

    • G says:

Really? Your approach is as idiotic as your comment.

If abusing children makes them properous, why do Randy et al find themselves declaring bankrupcy and leaning on thier mother to support and care for THEIR children. Gladys has had money troubles too.

    • Sarah says:

      TROOOOLL! TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!!!!

    • anon33 says:

Please take your straw man elsewhere.

  32. mln89 says:

i think tj and katherine sharing guardianship of the children is the best solution for everyone involved. i don’t think it’s reasonable to expect a 82 year old to take care of two teens and a child all by herself. and i still don’t believe this is about money for janet. she’s worth about $150 million herself. maybe she figured that if she helps her siblings go after micheal’s money, they won’t be turning to her for financial help. i mean these people are the money grubbing idiots who had the nerve to ask micheal’s estate to pay THEIR child support. they have no shame about pressuring people for money.

    • Kim says:

Then it is about money for Janet protecting her money from moochers.I can’t figure. out how Randy supports himself. At least the other brothers perform concerts, do reality shows, special appearances, etc

  33. BELLA says:

MICHAEL DID A GREAT JOB WITH HIS KIDS..
    BAN THEM ALL!! GOOD MOVE!

  34. DANDILION says:

The estate managers are doing too good a job taking care of Grandmother and Micheal’s kids and the rest of the smarmy Jacksons can’t squeeze anymore out of Katherine than she is given per year.. and must account for.. poor Janet.. she isn’t the successful, rich princess of the group anymore and she damn well is not going to give them her money to live on like Katherine did with Micheal’s living benefits to her while he was alive..

  35. Mira says:

I’m suspicious of TJ and Tito. Ah, well, only time will tell…!

  36. lucy2 says:

This whole thing is so ugly. I feel bad for the kids – not only did they lose their dad while growing up, but their family, the people they should be able to count on, are disgusting money grubbers.

Gladys should be ashamed of herself, going to TV to advocate someone knocking a kid’s teeth out. She wasn’t there and isn’t involved, time to MYOB.
Respect and discipline, sure, but physical abuse? No.

    • void says:

Yes, and what did Paris “call” Janet anyway? What is Gladys talking about? Did she not even properly read the report? Janet called PARIS a “spoiled little bitch”…Paris didn’t call her anything, she told her to get the F out. And I admire her spunk for it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gladys is subscribing to the same prejudice that a lot of people on the internet subscribe to: Michael’s kids “aren’t blood” and they “aren’t black” so somehow that means they are at fault here. Don’t believe me? Head over to Bossip and read the comments people leave. It’s absolutely insane. I take issue with the whole notion not only because it is incredibly unfair and ignorant, but because until I see proof that those kids are not biologically his, I’m not ruling out the possibility. Prince has vitiligo, Blanket looks like a mixed version of MJ himself, and even Paris looks to me like she may have Jackson blood. I’ll admit it would be unusual for the kids to all turn out looking more on the non-African American side of the spectrum, but with as many mixed family members as I have, I know it isn’t out of the question that those kids could be Michael’s. And even if they aren’t his biological children, it doesn’t make one damned bit of difference. They’re his children, they were his world, and he was certainly their whole world. Anyone who truly loved Michael Jackson would want to see his wishes carried out, and his wish was to see his children loved, well taken care of, respected, and protected in the event of his death. Regardless of the validity of the current will, the former will left his estate to his children and his mother and nothing to his greedy, childish siblings. And we can clearly see why.

  37. skuddles says:

Good. Further shaming of this shameful foursome. Deceiving their own Mother shows just how low there were willing to go in their attempts to get their greedy paws on MJ’s estate.

    • hello says:

I’m not even understanding where this is all coming from. This is full on drama. I know Janet doesn’t need the money. This whole thing just sounds very odd to me. ????

      • skuddles says:

I’m still rather puzzled about Janet too… but there are some rumors floating around that she’s not as financially solvent as she used to be, so who knows? Maybe it’s about control? But I can see the other siblings doing a mad dash for cash – they’ve been grubbing around MJ’s money for many, many years now. Which I imagine is the main reason he didn’t will them so much as a dime.

  38. katetabor says:

Look the fact is, Gladys generation was much better than todays, and you can’t change facts. This generation is shockingly lazy, and expcts the government to do everything for them.
Paris needs to learn how NORMAL people are expected to speak and act.
And….if it was not for Joe Jackson, none of them would be where they are. HE built them to sucess…what they did with it was up to them.

    • skuddles says:

Don’t you mean Joe Jackson “beat them to success”? It’s no secret he was very abusive with his boys.

      • Jackie O says:

…and possibly sexually abusive towards his daughters. ya, what a great generation. keep lots of secrets and and beat your children into submission.

    • Cherry says:

Jezus, gimme a break. There is no such thing as a ‘better generation’. Times change, circumstances change, but people remain the same. Saying that one generation of people is lazier than the other is just silly. How can you even make statements like that, let alone claim it’s a ‘fact’??

    • Eleonor says:

      Clear NORMAL,please.
In my opinion “normal” doesn’t imply lies to manipulate your own 82 years old mother to get money that aren’t even yours. For example.

    • Kate says:

Yes, let’s just look at Joe Jackson’s success! Michael died of drug abuse after mutilating his body in an effort to look Caucasian. He talked about having never had a childhood and was stuck in a weird netherworld of trying to regain his. He self-identified with Peter Pan. JJ’s other kids are now involved in a serious, organised attempt to defraud their own niece and nephew. Two are deadbeat dads. Only Janet appears to have been truly self-supporting, yet she is up to her neck in the attempts to defraud Michael’s kids of his money.

The other problem with your claims is that the crime rate in the USA has fallen hugely in the last couple of decades: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13799616 In fact the murder rate has almost halved. The 1980s were the high point – since then, serious violent crime has actually markedly fallen.

Must be all these terrible modern parents, hey?

    • jwoolman says:

The only thing abnormal about Paris is that she has shown far more restraint than typical teenagers. Read her tweets – they were mild. She just answered a question after the media got wind of the missing person report, confirming they hadn’t heard from grandma in more than a week and were very worried. Then later she asked people to report grandma sightings to authorities or their security people. She got upset when Uncle Randy said things in public that she believed were untrue but still showed restraint. Her older brother got involved finally when the public lies were too much and he showed the e-mail exchange proving they were deliberately being kept from talking to grandma. He was firm but still restrained. Honestly, it was an emergency situation, the kids usually keep quiet about the Jackson craziness. Even lawyers and police were being kept away from Katherine- something serious was going on. If the kids really were wild as the “respect” commenters here and elsewhere keep claiming, they would have welcomed grandma’s absence and we wouldn’t have heard a peep out of them.

I’m sure that their father, in addition to warning them about the family wolves, also taught them not to accept abuse. The wolves’ invasion of their home was a very scary and suspicious maneuver – if Paris did actually momentarily lose it while trying to prevent getting kidnapped, I think we should forgive her for just being scared, worried about grandma, and only 14 years old. What’s really disturbing is the awful things being said about her for just trying to keep her grandma safe. They weren’t complaining about curfews or bedtimes, after all.

  39. Kelly says:

So glad they are banned from the home. What scumbags. And Gladys Knight should really have kept her mouth shut, she sounded so ignorant.

  40. Krock says:

Mamma always said, when you grab too many cookies from the jar, your hand gets stuck and you get nothing!

GOOD! I’m glad they are blocked from the kids. They aren’t family they are vultures.

  41. WTF says:

From what I’ve read, Paris called Janet an obscene word. I don’t care what else is going on, children aren’t meant to disrespect adults. She can refuse to give her cell phone, she can refuse to go anywhere with her, but when we start applauding children for calling anyone obscene names (never mind an elder), then I think we’ve lost our way.
At the end of the day, these are CHILDREN. I don’t know any 14 year olds that are mature enough to make the best decisions for themselves. My 13 year old niece, may think ‘b*tch’ when I take her cell phone away, but she dam sure knows not to say it.

    • Jax says:

Maybe Paris learned her “shocking behavior” from the adults in her life. Maybe the adults should be better examples and they would get the respect they supposedly deserve from
the kids. You reap what you sow.

    • Marie Antoinette Jr. says:

Paris doesn’t owe Janet or any of her aunts or uncles a damn thing, least of all, “respect”.

    • Kim says:

TMZ reported that Janet called. Paris. a spoiled bitch Paris said shut the F**kup then Janet slapped her
Paris tweeted there was no slap

    • Kate says:

That’s probably because you aren’t taking her phone so you can isolate her, kidnap her to another state, and then steal all her money.

      Just a thought.

    • jwoolman says:

No report says Paris called Janet any names, obscene or otherwise. The worst she might have done is say “get the (f word) out” in the heat of the moment. She was scared and right to tell them to leave. It would be understandable that she might not choose her words carefully under the circumstances, especially since all reports are that Janet called Paris the “b word”, was trying to grab her cell phone (an important safety device in this situation) and get them to leave their house with their passports. Janet & Co. didn’t even bother to call ahead, much less to just sit down and talk with the kids. A single phone call from Katherine would have addressed the kids’ concerns immediately, so I assume the wolves had her too doped up to make the call… The whole thing was bizarre and had more in common with a home invasion than a visit from Auntie and Uncle.

  42. Marie Antoinette Jr. says:

This is proof that no matter how much planning you do–there is nothing that will stop crazy jealous family members from going after what they want from your estate. Normally, it’s the parents’ estate that is attacked, but being that Micheal had ALL the money; it makes sense that in this case it was his.
It’s sad. You want to think that your family will rally after a death; but often it is tragedy that brings out the worst in them.

  43. ShazBot says:

This is a late comment, so may not be answered, but legal question:

Even if the will was determined to be a fake, but no real will was found, wouldn’t his estate just pass in entirety to his direct heirs, namely his children? I don’t think there would be any justification for splitting it up among all his siblings, so what are they playing at?

    • Kate says:

Not a lawyer, but: the kids are minors, and in Blanket’s case it’ll be a clear decade before he inherits. With no will, control of the estate would pass to their next-of-kin to hold in trust for them. My understanding is that Michael’s will set up a formal trust with the two executors as sole trustees. If the will is found to be falsified, that trust would be invalidated.

Right now, any demands for money go via those executors, who are known to refuse unless it directly benefits the kids – child support payments for two Jackson brothers spring to mind. Katherine has asked for money for her other kids, and been denied. If the Jacksons were able to go straight to Katherine – or, when she dies, one another – then they’d have a free ride on the gravy train.

Again, I’m not a lawyer and therefore could be completely wrong, and there’s also the fact that if this will is wrong, there won’t be no will at all. It will simply revert to the last valid will before that one, whatever it says. But it seems a safe bet that whatever that previous will said, it was more generous to his siblings – or at the very least gave Katherine more control over his money. Or they wouldn’t be so keen to challenge it. Sounds to me like they weren’t interested when he died because his debts were so colossal, they didn’t want the headache of fending off the creditors while providing for the kids out of it. Now, it’s hugely successful and they are realising hundreds of millions will continue to roll in. And they want a chunk of that.

    • Marie Antoinette Jr. says:

They are looking for guardianship of the children–because that will bring a lavish lifestyle and a heap of cash for awhile. (at least until Blanket comes of age)

    • Kim says:

They want new executors.Executors who will provide financial assistance to other family members. MJ supported Katherine and she supported Randy and Jermaine baby mama Alejandra and her kids until this year.

  44. Thiajoka says:

I really don’t get it–if they were going to take the kids to their grandmother, isn’t that where the kids wanted to be? Paris was claiming that her grandmother was being withheld from her, wasn’t she?

I don’t exactly trust the Jackson family much, but I also think that people are rushing to judgement about what a 14 year old girl should be able to do–being able to order her bodyguards to keep away family members she doesn’t want to be around must be a great gig! Hell, I wish I had that privilege now and I’m 48.

    • LAK says:

Hard to trust that family member when they just tailgated you as you were driving into your own house before jumping out of their car to rush to yours and try to force you into their own car, another member of family that you trust [for now] has to put this member of the family into a headlock [allegedly] in order to throw them off the property. Other members are [allegedly] asking for your passport whilst also trying to take your phone [that you used to highlight the situation]……yep. really creates a trusting situation that you are really going to Arizona instead of being dropped off somewhere in between….did i mention these are all 30+ adults against 2 early teens and a child.

I understand that my write up reads like fiction, but apparently this is what allegedly happened!!!!

    • Kim says:

THEY refused to allow the kids to speak to their guardian for six days.Jermaine lied to his brothers about Katherine whereabouts according to Marlon. Paris didn’t order the bodyguards Trent did.

  45. Metry says:

Growing up, I always thought Janet was the normal one. With Michael being…Michael and Latoya doing crazy, naked, snake dances in France under the evil spell of her ex-husband (sorry, my Grandma ALWAYS had the Enquirer around and we took it all as TRUTH), Janet flew under my radar, except for her music. But, crazy always rears its ugly head. Now I realize that she’s just as damaged and deranged as the rest. Unfortunately, it’s always the children who suffer.

  46. Janet says:

None of this surprises me coming from Randy, Jermaine or Janet, but I’m surprised at and totally disgusted with Rebbie. She got out of that madhouse at 17 when she eloped with her boyfriend (they are still married to each other 40-something years later) and she acted like she was the only sane one in that whole f*cked-up ménage. I feel like slapping her upside the head. The other three are just trashy, IMO.

  47. apsutter says:

I used to LOVE Janet. This has made me lose all respect for her. Those poor kids. Everyone made fun of Michael all those years and called him horrible names but it seems like he actually raised some well-adjusted, sweet children. Good on Paris for not letting her Aunt bully her.

    • void says:

Amen. Michael had a vision for how his children would turn out as human beings, I feel. He obviously took time to imbue them with the qualities many of us see and admire in them now. It’s really a credit to Michael and to the children how well-adjusted and courageous they have turned out to be. And that little Blanket…I want to kidnap him myself. What a precious little guy.

  48. d says:

I still think the kids behaved the way they did because they saw they were being taken advantage because they were kids and being told indirectly that they should be sharing the wealth and should allow all the JAcksons into their home, and so on and so forth, and the kids just finally said, NO.

Which is what Janet’s takeaway from this should be. If she’s so worried about her brothers taking her money, maybe should just stop giving it to them and should just learn to say NO to her scuzzy brothers too.

I can’t imagine the pressure the kids are under because of the money issue and expectation and entitlement of the rest of the family.

  49. teehee says:

I didnt like what Gladys said.
Its one thing when a minor talks back to an “elder” but its another when a minor refuses to do wrong on the order of an elder.
I think paris was standing up for what she feels is ethical and right, regardless of whether any ‘elder’ finds it to be snobby.

    • Eleonor says:

This. I would have done the same thing, plus both Paris and Prince had to stand up also for little Blanket.

  50. Levertis says:

The problem is not necessarily any Jackson that people think is at fault. The problem is the money-hungry media and gullible readers who will eat anything that is dished out to them. Sometimes people on the outside are right, half right, or have it all screwed up. It is better to stop judging, but wait and see if it is that important.

I think we all know what it is like to have outsiders judge our family business without knowing all the facts.

Even though Michael was a super hard worker and paved his own way after he left the J-5, his father “made” him, and his siblings worked just as hard with him as he rose to fame. Who is to judge what is right in this family? Answers: the fair ones who really know the Jackson’s busines and are presiding over it, but overall, God, the Omniscient and Just Judge.

  51. Marcus says:

First off Janet is worth about 200 million dollars so its not like she needs the money and she should be ashamed of signing that document. SHE HAS LOST A FAN. The brothers should get up off their asses, stop having babies they cannot afford and work. Michael built his own fortune when he left jackson 5 and its his to do with as he pleases. Paris had every right to defend herself. If that was me I would be bouncing Janet’s ass up and down the street. It seems to me Michael raised good natured children and its not hard to see why he fled to Europe with them.
